[Back with Lexy and the others]
Lexy's POV ofc
Jake had clearly got no sleep last night. he was very irritable, and the bright purple bags under their eyes were noticeable on their pale skin.
We've been at breakfast for ten minutes, and Jake hasn't said a word.
Salem has been ranting on-and-on about stupid shit and also looking around for Sello. Jake kept rolling his eyes every time Salem spoke, but didn't have the energy to tell him off.
Quick footsteps can be heard across the room until someone is panting in my ear.
"Good morning." Sunday sighs, sitting down beside me.
"Hey, Sunday.. I have an important question." Salem says, leaning forward on the table.
"Nope. Shut up, Sully." Jake snaps, "No one has time for your stupid comments and bitchy remarks."
Salem leans back, and evil grin on their face, "Well, holy shit!" He laughs, almost manic. "Look who decided to show up!"
Jake rolled his eyes and went back to being quiet. Sello quietly sat down beside Jake, wrapping an arm around his shoulders.
"A little birdy told me someone was in a bad mood." Sello teases, leaning his face closer to the side of Jake's.
"A stupid fuck decided to keep me up all night," Jake explains.
Salem flips them off as Jake flings a piece of egg at them.
"Hey, Lexy... How insane do you think you are? Scale of 1-10." Salem asks, grinning.
I eyed him up, trying not to make any emotion clear on my face.
"Uh- what?" I ask.
"She's not sneaking out." Jake snaps, rolling his eyes.
"God, Lewis. Live a little." Salem rolls his eyes, leaning back in his chair until he's manspreading and basically laying on it.
"First of all, we have the same last name, so don't call me by mine. Second of all, we've been friends for almost ten years, don't call me that." Jake scoffs.
Sello pulls Jake closer to his side and leans in more.
"We don't have to sneak her out. I could sneak in." He suggests.
"Oh, really?" Jake asks, an amused smile spreading across his face to match their amused voice, "And go where?"
Sello looks at Jake suggestively, causing him to roll his eyes and playfully slap him.
"You're so gross, dude!" Jake laughs.
I watch in confusion. This type of interaction between the two wasn't quite expected.
Sunday finally speaks up after stuffing their face with food. "I gotta call my mom. Anyone want to come with?" They ask.
I nod my head, and we begin to leave the cafeteria. We make our way to our room, and I get confused.
"A-Are we grabbing something quick? Or?" I ask.
Sunday smiles and shakes their head, taking a few bedsheets off the mattress and pulling out a small phone. It had cracks in it and looked like the first cell phone ever made. Sunday types a number in, and before I know it, they're in full conversation with their mom.
I try to zone her out, and it works for about an hour until she hangs up and turns to me.
"Wanna make a call?" They ask.
