Lexy felt a little anxious about this "group" thing.

She wasn't sure how to feel about opening up to the group, or Mr Williams.

Sure, she and her friends knew some stuff about each other, but they didn't know that much.

By Friday, Lexy felt too tired to get out of bed. She physically and mentally drained herself by thinking about it too much.

Sunday woke up and rushed to Lexy's side, shaking her awake.

"Sunday, what the hell?" Lexy groaned, looking over at the person who woke her up.

Sunday brushed a red curl out of his face and grinned. "Let's go! We have to go to the group thing!" Sunday rushed out of the room.

Lexy waited a few seconds, then slowly pulled herself up out of bed. When she finished getting dressed, she made her way down to the room where the group was.

She walked down a few long hallways until she spotted the door. She quickly swung it open, and everybody's heads turned to her.

"Ah, Ms Cross. Wonderful for you to join us." Mr Williams smiled. "Please, come in. Close the door behind you."

With one small hand motion from Mr Williams, Lexy closes the door and swiftly makes her way over to a couch. She sat beside Jake, who seemed to be embarrassed.

"What's wrong?" Lexy whispers, watching Jake's hands pull at his shirt.

"I um.." Jake swallows hard. "The last time I saw Mr Williams, I had an asthma attack and passed out," Jake said, face getting redder and redder.

"Are you okay?" Lexy asks.

Jake nods and lifts his head to look around at the rest of the group.

"Okay, let's begin." Mr Williams sits up straight and clears his throat.

"Let's start with some facts. Can be something we already know. Doesn't have to be, though." Mr Williams smiled, " Sunday. We'll start with you."

Sunday looked nervous. "Oh, okay.." Sunday gulped before he spoke, "Uhm, I- I was sent here for a lot of problems... But I managed to get better enough to be a helper for the staff... And it was a huge step for me because I convinced myself I wouldn't get better.."

The group stared at him, frowning.

"Oh.." Salem whispers, messing with his rings.

Mr Williams took notice and decided to change the topic. "Salem, tell us about your rings!"

"Uhhh.. This one is a Coraline ring." He pointed the the black, plastic ring in the shape of a button. "This is my mom's wedding ring. My mom gave it to me when she and my dad divorced." He pointed to a shiny diamond ring. "This ones one my sister gave me a while ago." Jay pointed to a fake-plastic ring, that had begun to turn his skin green.

"Why's it on your thumb?" Jake asked, pointing to the fake plastic ring.

"Because it's too big?" Salem states, sounding like a question.

"Are we even allowed to have rings?" Sunday asked.

"We make exceptions." Mr Williams gave Sunday a friendly wink.

"Lexy? Anything to share?" Mr Williams asked.

"Uh.. I-I have a little sister. Her name is Caroline... Uh, my mom used to be mayor, but she died. And other complications happened... My friends and I live with our foster mom. Um-" Lexy tried to think, "I-I'm... Pansexual.." Lexy paused and continued to think, "This is definitely not something to be proud of, but I used to be a drug addict. I spent a month or so in rehab." Lexy explains.

"Oh.." Sunday whispers.

"Jake?" Mr Williams asked.

Lexy looked over at him and saw the anxiety in their eyes.

"Jake..?" Mr Williams repeated after a moment of silence.

"Right. Yeah. Sorry." Jake shook his head and sat up straighter. "Uh, I-I'm kind of... I have asthma, and before I came here I used to go to therapy like- every day." Jake explains. "My whole family are dickheads, to be honest." Jake pulls on his shirt harder. "They're the reason for my anxiety and depression." He shrugs and gulps.

Everyone stared at him, waiting for her to say more.

"I'm- not sure what else there is.." Jake frowns.

"That's okay, I'm just glad we got to know some of the basics!" Mr Williams says.

"Let's continue..."

______

Lexy wasn't sure it was ever going to end. When it did, she was so glad.

She flopped on her bed and closed her eyes as Sunday answered his phone.

Next thing Lexy knew, she was being shaken awake and Sunday, who was standing over her, looked terrified.

Sunday says something Lexy can hardly understand and shoves the phone in the hand of the blonde.

"Lexy? It's Jake. I can't find Devon."

Lexy sits up quickly in bed, suddenly more awake than she was a few seconds ago.

"Wait, what?" Lexy asks.

"Devon? I can't find him! He climbed out his window and left." Jake sounds scared.

"Okay... So find him?" Lexy tells him, upset she can't help.

"What the fuck do you think I've been trying to do?!" Jake yelled.

"Okay, okay, Jeez," Lexy mutters. "I can't help you. I'm stuck here... But you can call if you need anything, right?"

"I need my boyfriend!" Jake snapped. "And I can't find him anywhere!"

"I'm aware. But please, Jake. Keep me updated."

Lexy hears a heavy sigh on the other end of the phone, and before she can ask what's wrong, the phone suddenly hangs up. Lexy gets up and hides the phone under Sunday's pillow.

As she goes to leave to tell the others, she's stopped by a knock on the window.

She turns around and her eyes get wide as she realizes.

"You've gotta be fucking kidding me..."
