Lexy hears a noise on the other end of the phone, followed by a minute of silence. The only noise was an annoying rustling sound in her ear.

Suddenly, she hears the phone being picked up, a shakey breath, and Jake breathlessly muttering "We'll call you back..." Before the phone clicks.

Lexy sighs as she throws the phone carefully on Sunday's bed. She reaches her shaking hands up to her face to wipe the tears from her eyes and cheeks.

Jake sighs as he places his phone on the bed. He turns and looks up at his boyfriend who is pacing the floor frantically.

"Devon.." Jake whispers, forcing his voice to not break.

Devon doesn't stop to listen to him, instead, he shakes his head and begins to pace quickly. He's clearly lost in his mind right now, thinking of all possibilities for their situation.

Jake watches helplessly. Unable to do anything but watch his anxious boyfriend. Jake feels his anxiety creep up, but pushes it away the best he can. He needs to help Devon. He'll deal with himself later.

He slowly rises from the bed and grabs Devon's shoulder, harshly spinning the shorter boy around. Devon looks up from the ground to meet his boyfriend's eyes and takes a step closer.

Jake carefully grabs Devon's wrist, pulling him closer and wrapping his arms around his middle. He lets Devon bury his face in the crook of his neck and runs his fingers gently over his back.

"Dev, are you okay?" Jake asks after a long moment of silence.

Devon stiffs and Jake almost regrets asking the question. Slowly, Devon shakes his head, and Jake's heart shatters.

He carefully pulls away, holding Devon at arm's length.

"What's going on?" Jake asks, feeling the anxiety creep in again.

Devon's eyes fill with tears as he gulps back a sentence. Maybe the truth. Or an idea on how to finally stop Chucky once and for all. Devon pulls away from Jake's grip and heads towards the door in one quick motion.

Jake's head turns as he watches the boy leave.

He panics

"Devon? Devon!" Jake feels himself get faster as he races out the door his boyfriend just left.

He rushes down the hall, muttering curses under his breath, and silently thanking God Ms. Fairchild wasn't home.

He leans against Devon's closed door and knocks. "Devon?" Jake asks, catching his breath.

He doesn't get a response and begins to panic even more.

He knocks again. "Dev?"

No response.

At this point, Jake's freaking out. Why would Devon just run out like that? Why isn't he responding?

"Devon!" Jake pounds on the door.

When he gets ignored again: he readies himself to start using his body to open the door. He smashes his shoulder into the door once, stumbling back in pain. He recollects himself quickly and begins to repeat the process.

Suddenly, he hears the wood begin to crack, and Devon's door swings open in one quick motion.

"Fuck!" Jake yells, feeling the tears burn in his eyes.

Lexy hadn't realized, but the more time she spent with her friends, the less 'Nadine' bothered her. She couldn't remember the last time she heard her voice, other than the two times she did when she arrived. Lexy got called down to meet with Mr Burns and Mr Williams. She hoped it was for a good reason.

When she arrived at the office, she slowly lowered herself into a chair. It was just her, meaning the two men were running late. Lexy ignored the terrible feeling in her gut and focused on the white wall in front of her.

Suddenly, the door opened and Mr Burns and Mr Williams entered. They sat across from Lexy, and Mr Burns sighed.

"I'm sorry, Lexy. We got lost in conversation." Mr Burns apologizes.

"It's okay.." Lexy mutters, voice shaking with fear.

"So, first things first... You're wondering why you're here."

Lexy nods and sits up straighter in her seat.

"I have been meaning to ask you." Mr Burns starts, "What is the reason you're here?"

Lexy feels her face go red with embarrassment as she awkwardly tries to form words, but nothing comes out.

"Alexandra?" Mr Burns asks.

Lexy nods, embarrassed. "Right, sorry... I- I hear the voice... Of my... Dead friend. She keeps telling me to hurt people. I accidentally almost killed my brother.. But- he's okay now!" Lexy said.

"He's forgiven me, and I haven't heard her voice at all since I first got here," Lexy says after a long silence.

It wasn't a full lie. She heard her voice for the first time in weeks only a few hours ago... And Jake has forgiven her!

Mr Burns fixes his suit and sits up straight. Clearing his throat. "Is it perhaps because of your group of friends?" He asks.

Lexy doesn't know how to answer that. She hoped that's the reason. She really really did! She didn't want to lose them. She agrees.

Lexy nods, hesitant at first.

"We propose a small engagement." Mr Burns tells her.

"Okay? What?" Lexy asks.

"We want to start a meeting group here. There used to be one before, but we never got to complete all sessions." Mr Williams finally speaks.

"Meeting group?" Lexy asks.

"We invite certain people in, have a talk with them, and you guys can express your thoughts together." Mr Williams says, "It's a creative way to help us- me- in understanding patients and your minds. And we think you and your friends are a perfect start."

"When does it start?"

"Hopefully before the end of the week. It's Wednesday, so maybe Friday." Mr Burns cuts in.

Lexy hesitantly nods.

"Thank you, Ms Cross.." Mr Burns says, "You may leave."

He smiles, and Lexy can see why Jake has a massive crush on this guy.

She smiles back, although it seems a little forced, and rushes out of the room.

Once in the hall, she takes a deep breath of air.

She hopes Mr Williams and Mr Burns know what they're doing with this group because she is skeptical about joining.
