'No...' You gasped in disbelief as you saw thick black smoke rise from the monastery. Or what's left of it, at least... 'We're too late...' You whispered as you quickly jumped off Yang making you wince in pain. But you didn't care anymore...

Suddenly, loud cries were heard from the dragons making you quickly whip your head towards them. 'Rocky!' Cole gasped and quickly released the dragons from the now on fire barn.

'Shard, put this out.' Zane said making Shard blow out a gust of ice and put out the flames.

As soon as the flames died down, you could no longer hear anything at all. All you could focus on was the remains of the fire. The remains of what you once called your home. You knelt down to the ashes and desperately searched for literally anything at all.

'Y/N!' Your father gasped as he grabbed your hands to stop you and hugged you. 'It's okay...' He whispered gently as he stroked your head lightly, and that was about all you could take before tears began streaming down your face.

'No...' Kai suddenly said, 'It's not okay...' He then turned around and glared at you and Zane. 'If you guys hadn't followed that silly bird, none of this would've happened!'

'Kai...' Your father warned as he let go of you and stood up to glare at him. 'Don't.'

'No Sensei. He's right!' Jay yelled and turned to the two of you, 'Because of the two of you, my high score has been deleted!'

'This is a teaching moment...' Zane said quietly, 'We must learn from this.'

'A teaching moment?! What is wrong with you?!' Cole yelled as he grabbed onto Zane's shoulders, 'Don't you get it?! EVERYTHING IS GONE!'

With this, you snapped. 'WTF?!' You growled making everyone's eyes widen and go silent. 'Look. I've lived in this place my whole life! And Zane doesn't even have a home beside this place! If we're talking about who's hurting most. It's the two of us.' Then, you gasped and fell back on your knees as your stomach ached in pain.

'Y/N...' Your father gasped as he and Nya quickly rushed to you and picked you up. 'We are all at fault. Y/N and Zane are a part of our family. Apologize at once.'

The three of them sighed and turned to you. 'We're sorry Y/N.' They then turned to Zane to apologize only to find that he's gone.

'Zane...' You frowned as you stared at Zane on his dragon, flying away from you guys.

You sighed as you sat next to the remains of the monastery. 'Gosh... I already miss this place.' You muttered to yourself as you picked up a piece of wood from the ground and played around with it.

Suddenly, something sparkled from the corner of your eyes. You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion as you dug through the wood and found a big metal box at the bottom.

'What?!' You gasped as you opened it and saw what was inside. The spear conjured from the golden weapons was inside along with a specialized bag that can carry the spear, a few black scrolls and a small note stuck to the cover.

'Here are some tools to help you on your journey, youngling. Good luck.' You read it out loud before muttering to yourself confused, 'Youngling?' You then reached into the box and took out the scrolls. There were three of them and you opened the one by one.

The first one was the prophecy about the green ninja, except the back was covered in black ink and the secret message was revealed. The second one was filled with purple writing that you didn't understand. And the third one was just a completely blank black scroll. 'What does this mean?...' You muttered to yourself as you examined everything.

Suddenly, someone called your name from a far away distance making you whip your head towards them. It was Nya and she was waving for you to go to her with a huge smile on her face. 'Zane's back!' Was all you needed to hear before stuffing everything in the box into the bag and swinging it over your shoulder before speeding towards her as fast as possible.

'Zane!' You gasped as you swung yourself onto him, making the two of you stumble and almost fall onto the ground. 'You're back!' Then you flinched in pain as your forgotten injury ache in pain.

'Hey. You okay?' Zane said worriedly as he quickly let go of you and check if your fine. You couldn't help but smile at this. He's always looking out for you.

'Gosh Y/N. You're even more excited than us.' Kai said as he smirked, 'What's up with that?' He then chuckled with the others as you tilted your head slightly and looked at them with confusion. 'You really don't know what we're talking about, do you?' Kai laughed as you blinked.

'Nope.' You shrugged and turned back to Zane, 'Are you okay? You're not sad, are you?' You pouted slightly and turned to glare at the other ninjas, 'If you are I'll kill them.'

'No!' Jay gasped in fear and quickly explained, 'Zane said he saw the bird again and went to follow it. He just told us that he found something and was about to bring us there.' He chuckled anxiously afterwards and sent a look to Zane, desperately nodding his head to tell him to say yes.

'Yeah.' Zane smiled and mounted his dragon once more, 'I have something to show you guys.'

'I can't explain it, but I feel some kind of weird connection with the falcon.' Zane said once you've reached the dessert. He smiled and walked forwards, 'I think he's trying to help show us the path to take.' He then told you guys to come forwards and pointed towards something not so far away.

'Zane... Is this..' You gasped as you took in what was in front of you. There was a huge boat that was sitting there. 'Our new home.' He finished for you and smiled at you.

'Wait...' Jay gasped as he took in a sniff, 'Do I smell pie?!'

Zane nodded and chuckled, 'Yep. Cobbler berry. Oh, and I made myrtle berry and apple and-' That was all he could say before the the ninjas and Nya laughed loudly and raced towards the ship, leaving you, Wu and Zane there.

'I'm proud of you, Zane.' Your father smiled as he patted Zane's shoulder. 'One day, I promise, we will find your family.'

'But I've already found them.' Zane smiled gently as he looked at you, making you smile back and hug him sideways. 'I'm so glad I have a brother like you.'

'I'm glad I have a sister like you too.' He chuckled and took your arm. 'Now come on. We should go back now if we want to eat at least a few bites of the pies before they finish them all.'

You nodded slightly before suddenly remembering about the bag on your shoulders right now. You had to talk to your father. About both the bag and what the serpentine general said. 'Hey. You go first and save some pie for us. I need to talk with my father for a while first.' He smiled and nodded before turning to leave.

'Umm.. father.' You bit your lip as you hesitated if you should tell him or not.

'What ever it is, you can tell me Y/N.' He smiled gently and knelt down to your level.

You sighed, giving in. 'Father, who's my mom?' You asked making his eyes widen in shock. 'Why do you ask that?'

'It's just, the serpentine general said something to me today.... And it's making me wonder...' You gulped before shaking your head and putting on a smile, 'You know what? It's nothing. Let's just go eat. I'm hungry.'

'Yeah. Of course.' He smiled and took your hand, leading you to the ship.

A deep voice echoed in a dark castle, 'Youngling, I hope these tools I gave you can help you with your journey. When the time comes, I'll find a way to help you again. Good luck. Destiny is with you.'
