Chapter Eleven: The prophecy

You smiled as you felt the wind blow against your face, it's been a while since you did this again.

'Just like old times, eh Rocky?' Cole said, rubbing on Rocky's head, making him purr in delight.

'Says the guy afraid of dragons.' You chuckled, making Cole throw a glare at you.

'You guys believe what Sensei said about unlocking our full potential?' Kai asked. He looked like he had been thinking about this a lot.

'Of course it's true.' You scoffed, rolling your eyes. You couldn't believe how stupid they could be sometimes.

'I mean, we don't know for sure-' Jay said which made you huff, 'But I think he may be onto something. I mean since we got these golden weapons, it's not like we ever had to use them. I wonder what they do.'

'I, for one, look forward to the future. If there is more for us to accomplish, let it be.' Zane said smiling sweetly. You felt the corners of your lips tug up slightly, you've always found Zane's smile contagious.

'Don't know about you, but is anyone else a little excited about battling Lord Garmadon? I've been looking forward to trying out some new Spinjitzu moves. Could be the perfect opportunity.' Cole said, with a confident smirk, which you rolled your eyes at.

'Really Cole? This is not a game. Stop being childish and grow up.' You scoffed. Sometimes, you really feel like your older than them, even when they're almost five years older than you.

'Don't be a party pooper Y/N.' Jay whined, 'If we're going to save the world, why not do it in a fun way? How 'bout I race you there?'

'Oh your on!' Kai said before you could even answer, 'Jamanakai Village. First ninja there wins.'

Right after the words left his mouth, the ninjas began to race towards the village in full speed. You muttered something under your breath irritated before taking a short cut to arrive there before they could, just to piss them off.

'Ha-ha! I was first!' Kai said as the guys landed at Jamanakai Village.

'No! I was here first!' Jay said, quickly jumping off his dragon but was beaten by Cole who landed on his feet first.

'Ha ha! My feet were down before yours!' Cole smirked, crossing his hands in front of his chest.

'You were all disillusioned! It was clearly me!' Zane said, making the others send glares at him.

'Ahem?' You cleared your throat at the top of the hill, just in front of the entrance, leaning against the gate. 'You guys done bickering like little kids yet?' You said, rolling your eyes and turning around to walk into the village.

'Wait, when did you get here?' Jay gasped.

'I got here five minutes before you.' You said, trying your best to keep a straight face while seeing their eyes widen, 'Now come on, we have a village about to be attacked here.'

The ninjas and you entered the village only to see people screaming in terror and running around. 'Ahhh! He's here!' A woman yelled, passing by you.

'Stay sharp, fellas. Whatever happens, never let your guard down.' Kai said as the guys pulled down their hoods, and you putting on your hoodie's hood as well.

Suddenly, a huge shadow started to walk towards you and he did a evil laugh.

'Wait...' You muttered, sensing something's off, 'That isn't Lord Garmadon...'

Then, a blond haired boy, wearing a black hoodie come walking out from behind the building. 'It is I, Lloyd Garmadon! And I demand all the candy in the town, or else...' He said raising his hands above his head, waving them around to act scary.
