Kai's POV:
Ever since Y/N left, Sensei Wu always seemed to be distracted and distanced. Even though we have already collected the other three golden weapons, Sensei Wu still doesn't seem happy nor relieved. Maybe he's still upset about what happened with Y/N...
'Come on Kai! Join us! You too Sensei Wu!' Jay said as the guys were dancing and celebrating. While Sensei was sitting near a tree meditating.
'There is still one weapon left! We must get our sleep!' Sensei said frowning. 'Plus, we need to finish this mission and get back to the monastery as soon as possible. Y/N is alone there...' He trailed off.
Suddenly everyone turned quiet and stopped dancing. I guess they felt bad for Y/N as well...
'Sensei...' I hummed. I really want to ask him the question that have been on my mind for a long time now, but I'm not sure if this is the right time. 'Does... Does Y/N have a mother?' I said hesitantly.
Sensei Wu froze in place and left my question unanswered.
Y/N never told me anything about her mother. But I've never seen her nor heard Y/N bring her up...
Everyone's attention turned to us as I continued to stare at Sensei Wu, waiting for his answer.
When he finally snapped out of his shock, he just avoided my question, 'It's late now. We should have some rest...'
Then he just turned away from us and laid on the floor. Why didn't he answer me?
I turned to the guys and saw their expressions even more confused then mine.
'Kai?' I heard Cole said, 'What do you mean? Isn't Y/N's mother at the monastery?' He said brows furrowed in confusion.
'I've never seen her...' I replied as continued to stare at Sensei. He isn't asleep so he must be listening to us.
'Sensei?' Jay joined in the conversation, with a frown.
Sensei sighed but continued to ignore us.
'I'm guessing her mother must have either left or passed away...' Zane stated looking at the ground. Of course we all knew that... We just didn't want to say it out loud. Maybe there's another reason?
'Sensei?' I asked once again and this time Sensei finally snapped.
'Just go to sleep!' He shouted turning around to face us for a second then turned away again. ' I don't want to talk about it. And don't even think of bring this up to Y/N or there will be consequences.'
'Sorry Sensei...' We all said and laid down on the floor.
Why was Sensei acting so weird? Is Y/N's mother really dead? Maybe that's why he was being so sensitive about it... But then that means...Y/N doesn't have a mother...
My heart ached as I thought of that point. When my parents left, I also felt so empty and lonely. At least I had Nya to support me... But Y/N is now alone in the monastery, all by herself... I hope she's fine...
Y/N's POV:
It's been three days since I came back home and I've surprisingly been handling it quite well. I've basically just been watching Netflix, reading, and working on my projects. I've been quite comfortable alone here but the fridge is running out of food so I had to go to Jamanakai Village to buy some.
When I went back to the monastery, I noticed the gate was open.
'Did I forget to close it? I swear I closed it...' I muttered as I inspected the the lock of the gate. It was broken in half! THE GATE WAS FORCED OPEN!
