Leo let out a contented sigh as he sat from across the swimming pool. He was a pretty rich teenager, living on his own with lots of money and all, and he was very happy with his lifestyle. He began to swim across the pool happily, taking in the sun's rays and cooling off as he dived around. Something caught his attention though. An unconscious mouse...or wait, no. Was it...a person? Whatever it was, it looked extremely small, probably less than a couple inches tall and was lying on the edge of the pool. He swam over in curiosity, looking down at the small figure before him. "What the..." was all that escaped his lips as he looked down. He gently picked up the creature, and it awoke with a jolt. "Oh my god! P-please don't hurt me..." The creature, who looked to be like a little boy, cowered behind his finger. Leo's eyes softened and he slowly stepped out of the pool, moving into his mansion and towards the bathroom, drying off the little guy in his hands. "Don't worry little one. It'll all be okay." he smiled as he wiped the child with a towel. "What's your name?" he asked intently, leaning in closer. "I'm Max, sir." The little creature squeaked. The small noise made him chuckle slightly.

"I'm Leo. Pleased to meet you." He began, but before he could say anything else or ask anymore questions, Max fell asleep in his hand. He smiled softly and walked over to his bedroom, making sure to keep his footfalls light to not disturb the sleeping beauty in his hands. Switching off the light, he climbed into bed and held Max against his chest, sleeping soundly.

What he was not prepared for though, was a very hard awakening. The sun barely peeped above the horizon when he got hit in the face with a rock. "Ow!" he murmured, sitting up and cursing under his breath. To his surprise, the kid was there, watching him with a couple stones behind his back. "Max..." he said in an annoyed tone. "Yeah?" Max asked, mock-innocently. "Come here." Leo ordered in a stern voice. To his dismay, the little one grinned cheekily and scurried off the bed with little pitter patters, skittering across the floor. Leo looked down in annoyance and frustration as he got up. Was he really going to be taking care of this terror now? "Come here!" he repeated, shouting now as he chased Max, who was laughing happily. Of course, due to his size, Leo had an advantage and quickly scooped up the little struggling kid. "Max. Why did you throw stones at my head?" he asked, giving an exasperated sigh. "Um, to wake you up!"

Leo gave him a blank stare before groaning. "I'm sure there are definitely other ways to wake me up!" he said, trying to give the kid some different ideas. Max just shrugged. "It was the only way I could think of."

Leo got up and walked over to the kitchen. "Alright Max, just choose whatever you wanna eat, though I'd doubt you want anything, considering the amount of energy you already have." he snorted slightly, looking down at Max on the counter. Max stood up and looked around, before clambering up a cupboard drawer towards the cereal. Leo tilted his head and opened the cupboard, and to his shock, an entire packet of cereal had been ripped to shreds, with no other remains of food inside it. "What the hell?! Max!" he called out angrily, looking around for the culprit. There on the table, he saw the kid licking his fingers and giggling, feeling full.

Leo couldn't even begin to comprehend how a small body like that could fit that amount of food inside it. He walked over, looking down at Max with a serious expression on his face, which was a drastic contrast to the smug grin Max had plastered all over. With one hand, Leo swooped up Max in his palm and glared down at him. "C'mon, no more food, you've had too much energy for today, young man."

He smirked to himself when he heard a small "Ugh!" sound come from his hand, as he closed his fist around Max.

A couple hours later...

Leo had found himself groggily dragging his body over to his bed. He had been exhausted of looking after Max, who was always bursting and zooming around the house. After hours of trying to catch the guy, Leo brought him over to the bed again. "Go to sleep little guy." He said, rubbing his eyes. Max grinned and closed his eyes softly. "Alright Dad."

Leo was caught off guard, looking down at Max, a little stunned. Honestly, he didn't even know if that was a good or bad thing that this kid had just accepted him as his Dad. He felt a small smile across his face as he pat the child on the head. "Good night, buddy." He said as he tucked himself in next to his 'son'.

The next morning he was hit in the face with a rock.
