After a few more day's in the Hospital you and Elaine were able to come home to the castle, where you were welcomed back warmly by the castle staff who marveled at their new Princess, Even Little D No. 2 got teary eyed meeting her for the first time. and of course your husband too who'd recovered well from his injuries, the events of the attempted assassination weren't released to the public for your safety but Diavolo kept to his word with the culprit being punished. It also seemed there was a whole group of radical demon's who opposed you being their queen In which Barbatos tracked them down, and they were Imprisoned in the dungeon of the castle where they'd serve out their sentences with their part In the Assassination.

it had stormed all night long which had you awake, as well as Elaine who'd woken up in fright which made you go to the nursery to soothe her, but Diavolo offered to look after her as you hadn't gotten much sleep and so you agreed. with Diavolo sitting In the rocking chair as he held Elaine while doing his best to calm her down though It seemed difficult at first, but he soon got her back to sleep while also dozing off himself In the process so he'd slept there till morning

Shortly after you woke up you put on your robe and went to go check on them, and upon going inside the Nursery a smile came to your face as you saw Diavolo lightly snoring. While Elaine was also sleeping soundly within his arms, you giggled as you went over to their side

you kissed Diavolo's cheek and put a blanket over him, before you took Elaine into your arms just as your husband started to wake up with a stretch and yawn, "Oh? My Light"

you smiled, "Good morning Dia"

Diavolo smiled, "Good morning my love, I hope you slept well...I was able to get Elaine to sleep but before I could put her to bed I fell asleep myself"

he stood up from the rocking chair to stretch again, before he came to your side as you shared a good morning kiss just as Elaine started waking up, she was wiggling within the swaddle as she tried to stretch her arms out, Diavolo leaned down to kiss her forehead

"Good morning to you my little one"

Elaine turned her attention to Diavolo, just as he wiggled his finger In her face which made her reach for it as she grasped on, the action brought some tears to his eyes as he then pecked her little hand, just then Barbatos came to knock on the door

"Good morning your Majesties, Your Majesty It'll soon be time for your first appointment today"

Diavolo gave a nod, "Yes I know, I'll be right there"

Barbatos then left as Diavolo turned to you, "My Love I'll be fairly busy today, I'd love to be with you and our daughter as much as I can but-"

"It's alright Dia, we'll come visit you later when there's time"

Diavolo smiled, "Okay,"

you kissed his cheek before he left the nursery, you knew what he was worried about and that was balancing being King as well as a father. All throughout history It was hard for all rulers but together you'd find that balance with him, on this thought you went to go breastfeed Elaine before changing her diaper. and afterwards you changed her into one of her little onesie's all the while you hummed to her as you smoothed her little hair's down

Eliza peeked inside, "My Lady, would you like any help?"

you smiled, "No but thank you Eliza,"

you pressed a kiss to Elaine's cheek as you rocked her in your arm's, lightly patting her as you sang to her a little as to help her go back to sleep for a while. Once Elaine was asleep you gently put her down In her bassinet and you stayed there a while before you left the nursery.

After having a bath and getting dressed in your R.A.D attire, but when you went to go have breakfast you brought Elaine with you and put her into the custom baby sling you had made. and while you ate Eliza caught you up on the Administrative things you needed to oversee at R.A.D In which you noted, just as your husband came to the dining room now dressed

"My Light, I'll be leaving now"

Diavolo came over and kissed you, "See you later, if you need me to come home don't hesitate to tell me"

you smiled, "I will, but don't worry we'll be fine and don't forget to eat something, have a good day Dia"

Diavolo smiled warmly, "Alright you as well my dear"

Diavolo looked at Elaine and lightly stroked her head as he then released your hand, starting out the dining room with Barbatos following not too far behind. you then continued eating your oatmeal that had fruit In it along with some honey drizzle

but then you felt a tug on your skirt, looking down to see Little D no. 2

he bowed, "Your Majesty"

you smiled, "Morning Little D what'd you need"

"I came to tell you that Papa's coming to visit later with Asmodeus"

you smiled, "Mammon right? thank you for telling me Little D,"

he took off his hat to you before he started leaving, just as Elaine started waking up again as her golden eye's wondered around the room. you then finished eating before you went to get the baby bag and head off to R.A.D In which Mephisto would meet you there as usual as your aid but also now to personally protect both you and Elaine.
