It was now within your eighth month, and It was also in the middle of November now with the snow starting to fall after It'd been cold for a while, though winter was to start next month with your due date also being around that time In December, which excited you and Diavolo as you guessed Elaine might be born sometime before Christmas so It'd be her first too.
It was in the middle of the night and you were asleep within your husband's arms, but you you shifted as you started to wake up and sit up In the bed, you found yourself feeling hungry so you were wanting to go have a little something as you were having cravings again, just then you remembered the cake Barbatos had made the other day It was a cherry kind of cake
just then you felt a shift inside of you, and you smiled "Are you hungry too my baby?"
you rubbed your stomach as you then carefully got out the bed, and you put on your slippers as you started out the bedroom but then you saw Diavolo wake up, and you turned on the light
he sleepily sat up, "My Light?"
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you up"
Diavolo started getting out of the bed, "I felt you weren't by my side anymore and I got worried...is something wrong dear?"
you smiled, "Nothing's wrong, Elaine and I wanted a snack"
Diavolo smiled, "I understand...here, It's cold In the halls my love"
he got one of the smaller blankets and put it around you, before he supported you as he left the room with you as you went downstairs to the kitchen together, but when you went to get a slice of cake Diavolo got worried so he got it for you himself, you smiled at his sweetness and went to go sit down as he then emerged from the kitchen with slices of cake for the both of you
you kissed his cheek, "Thank you Dia"
you then noticed his slice of cake, "Darling aren't you on that diet of sweets right now?"
he smiled, "yes, but as long as Barbatos doesn't find out there's no trouble...."
you giggled, "I guess so"
he got a forkful of his slice, before he fed some to you "How is it?"
you smiled, "It's really good, I don't think I've had this kind of cake before"
Diavolo smiled In agreement as he tried some too, but then he fixed the blanket around you more as you continued to enjoy the late night treat together.
