Tea with Angels Chap.23

A Few days later....

You had Invited Simeon and Luke over to have Tea, also because It had been such a longtime since you'd last had any kind of interaction with them and you wanted to catch up. Also Luke said he hoped to come and play with Elaine In which you were happy to tell him yes, they hadn't seen her much since the party where she was Introduced and when she was born,  Your Husband was currently busy with his King duties and was saddened to tell you he couldn't come, but you told him it was alright and that there was next time so he shouldn't worry too much about it

you decided to have the tea party In the garden that Diavolo created for you and Elaine, though It was intended to be a secret one you didn't mind to have friend's over at all, It was summer now so you wore much more heat comfortable dresses unlike the one's for fall and winter. But since you were Queen you'd never fully go back to casual clothing unless while you were In the Human world of course just like while you were out at the Aquarium the other day 

you were setting up the table that had been brought to the garden, laying out the table cloth all the while Eliza was brewing the tea and finishing the tea snacks that you'd have 

"Your Majesty"

you turned to see Eliza coming with the tea set and desserts that he'd made, as he then set them up on the table along with the teapot and cups with saucers

you smiled, "Thank you Eliza"

she bowed, "Of course"

"I'll go fetch the young princess for you"

"Thank you"

she curtsied before leaving as she closed the door behind her, you then sat down at the table as you took in the sunshine but then soon put on your sunhat as It was rather bright, soon Eliza returned with Elaine just as she went to go let in Simeon and Luke

a smile came to your face as you saw them, "It's so good to see you"

Simeon smiled and bowed as did Luke, but you stood up as you went to go bring them up

"Please make yourselves at home, It's been a long while"

Simeon smiled, "Indeed It has, Thank you"

you hugged him and Luke before you went to go sit down, just as they looked to Elaine

"Is that Elaine, look how big she's gotten...she's looking more like Diavolo now"

you smiled, "She really is"

just then you used your free hand to pour some tea for them, just as Luke came around to your side as he held out his hand to Elaine and she put her little hand In his 

Luke smiled, "Hi little one, My name's Luke"

Elaine looked at Luke before she gave him a gummy smile, showing the teeth she was growing at the moment as he then held out his hands "May I hold her?"

you smiled, "Of course, you wanted to play with her right?"

you handed her to Luke as he then carefully took her, just as he looked at her as she then started pulling at the ornament hanging from his hat "Hey that's not a toy!"

Luke went to sit down as he held Elaine, all the while he played some Angel games with her 

"How've you been, I'm sure R.A.D duties have been tiring for you" said Simeon 

you let out a sigh, "They have...but It's my duty and I won't neglect a thing, especially now that I'm a mother I have to balance my work and family"

you picked up your teacup and had a sip, just as Simeon asked to see Elaine next 

"How pretty you are, It's nice to meet you again Elaine"

he smiled and tickled her which made her laugh aloud, just as he started to bounce her.
