Date Night Chap.25

A Few days later....

After a very busy week It seemed there was finally some time for yourselves, so Diavolo arranged for you to go out for a date night as It had been sometime since your last one. you agreed that It would be nice to get out and take a break from your royal duties for a night at least, and Barbatos agreed as well saying that he'd be happy to look after Elaine while you went but that was not before Mephisto burst in saying that he'd watch Elaine. of course Mephisto knew Diavolo far longer than Barbatos as they were playmates when they were children so In order to avoid conflict you concluded that they'd both watch her, In which they complied with the Idea. 

you'd just freshened up and now you were getting changed into your dress, It was long and black with an elegant mermaid silhouette that glittered but It wasn't too over the top as you'd be going out Incognito again. Though now It was easy to be recognized by the denizens 

Eliza zipped up the back of your dress for you, she then smoothed the skirts down as you then put on your heels that matched the dress and you had to say It was nice to be out of a corset again. your waist could breathe along with the rest of you for tonight, you then went to go sit at your vanity as you did your makeup, going through your entire routine as you finished the look with a red lip as Eliza did your hair for you as she curled It before pinning some of it up

"It's beautiful, I don't think I've seen you do this style for me before"

Eliza smiled, "It's a special night, of course you should look this way also I thought to experiment"

you giggled a bit as you then put on your necklace, and earrings just as there came a knocking on the bedroom door as you turned to see your husband walk inside wearing a suite 

you smiled, "Darling"

Diavolo smiled, "Mephisto and Barbatos are all set with what they need for tonight, are you ready to go my Light"

"yes!"

you stood up as you went to his side as you fixed his tie, but he spun you around into his arm's 

"My, how beautiful you look just like a fallen piece of the night sky"

he then offered his elbow, "Shall we go dance the night away My Queen?"

you smiled and held onto it, "Yes but Dinner first"

he chuckled, "Of course!"

you then went to the nursery as you checked on Elaine first, seeing that Mephisto and Barbatos were playing with her on the floor but he was trying to "Outdo" Barbatos as an Uncle. You and Diavolo exchanged a smile, as you then went into the room as you gave Elaine a kiss goodbye with Diavolo doing the same before the both of you headed outside the castle

Diavolo opened the passenger door for you, "My Love"

you smiled and got inside as he then slid In next to you before closing the door, he then came around to the driver's seat as he put his key's into the ignition as It turned on. Diavolo then started to drive away from the castle as he headed into town, all the lights In the city were on be they shop lights or house lights with the sight always being nostalgic for you somewhat 

Diavolo gripped the wheel with his hand's as he then turned left, It had been a while since he'd last drove so going for a ride through the Devildom started the makings of a nice date 

just as the car came to a stop light, you intertwined your hands with Diavolo's free one as he gave It a squeeze before bringing it up his lips as he pressed a kiss there. It really felt as though you'd been together for years and years despite only being married for two In a half years 

"My Light, I haven't told you this much lately but I want you to know...no matter how much time passes I will always love you"

you smiled warmly, "I love you too Dia, it's the same for me too no matter what"

just then the light turned with Diavolo focusing back on the road, and soon after a while longer of driving you'd arrived outside Ristorante six as he'd made a reservation for you both. once he parked the car you removed your seat belt and grabbed your clutch purse as he opened the door, you then went inside arm in arm together and were soon welcomed by the staff 

Diavolo motioned them not to bow or call him Majesty, tonight you were just an ordinary couple a pair of husband and wife on a date night. you were soon taken to your table by the demon waiter and given a nice seat near the center of the room, and Diavolo pulled out your chair for you as you then sat down as he pushed It in for you before you picked up the menu 

but first Diavolo ordered you both some Demonus to toast the night to, and it soon came to the table in a fancy bucket of ice as the waiter opened it before pouring some for you both 

Diavolo lifted his glass first, he smiled "To a well deserved night out"

you smiled and clinked your glass together with his before you had a sip, It had been a longtime since you'd had Demonus so It was tasty tonight and sweeter than usual too 

The Waiter soon returned, "Your Maje-er what would you like to order sir?"

Diavolo started, "hm...how about the Flaming hot Fafnir stew"

he wrote it down before turning to you, "Madam?"

you looked it over one last time, "the Pesto penne with chicken please"

"Very good choice, I will be back with It soon"

the waiter left, as you had another sip of your Demonus just as Diavolo put something onto the table and opened up long box to reveal a bracelet inside. It shimmered underneath the light 

"Oh Dia"

he smiled, "do you like It? I picked it out for you a few days ago"

you smiled with a nod, "It's beautiful, thank you"

he took it out the box and you held your arm out as he then fastened It onto your wrist, as you had a closer look to see It was embedded with black diamond's, you then laced your hand's together as Diavolo then also presented you with a few roses that he'd gotten just for you 

you smiled warmly, "Dia...thank you so much"

he kissed your hand, "I love you"

"I love you too Dia"

you took the bundle of roses and smelled their sweet scent, as you also felt your heart swell with love for him as it felt like you were falling for him all over again as you leaned forward to kiss.
