The bell rings for the end of the morning periods. It's break time. I gather my stuff into a neat pile and shove them one by one into my satchel. I'm due to meet up with Melody in a few minutes. I slip through the crowd of students filling out of the classroom and rush down the hallway to my locker. Putting away my stuff in a hurry, I almost drop a few things. I see Melody walking up to me, and behind her just a few steps, walking with his mates is the lovely loveliness himself - Leorio. I sigh dreamily. Oh, God, he's so handsome, and-

"Earth to Pika!" Melody waves a hand in front of me, disturbing my thoughs.
"What? Oh, uh, sorry" I say sheepishly. I pull my front hair back, and let go, so that it falls elegantly and brushes against my forehead. He looks at me for who knows how many seconds, but my legs turns into jelly right then and there. I take a shaky breath and lean against my locker so I wouldn't fall over, and turn my attention back to Melody. Rule number one of being a Boy Magnet: Don't look desperate. Honestly, all these girls squealing and trying to get his attention - they're doing a very lame job and seriously need to sober up. He'll never pay attention to them. But then again, I feel like I've got less to worry about my crush than Killua does with his. His name (Killua's crush') is Johnathan, I think. Jackass, fuck-boy, complete idiot, but Killua sees him differently. Oh, the little innocent (sarcasm). But really, seriously speaking, Killua deserves better. He flirts with anyone in his path that's a "total hot babe" . This Johnathan guy started flirting with Killua a few months ago and ends up sharing a kiss with him, and now Kil thinks they're an item (mostly secret). Now he won't stop mooning about the guy. Stupid.

Melody says nothing. She just huffs and runs to class.

I'm sorry this chapter was so short. I lost motivation for a while and then got writer's block, which caused another round of motivation-loss. I'll make it up next chapter (that means I owe you guys at least 2000 words next chapter.)
