I stand beside Zatanna with my arms crossed, unimpressed that Lex Luthor wants our help.
"Every single Magnetic Field Disrupter must be disabled before they chrysalis to guarantee Earth's safety. Each MFD is protected by multiple beetle tech drones and each drone is the equivalent of a beetle warrior. Blue Beetle has located 20 MFDs around the world. There's forty-one of us assembled here, so one of you will be in a squad of three," Captain Atom declares.
"Just a few more should do it," Blue says, powering the Reach tech eggs with his cannon.
"You will all be issued multiple Reach tech eggs containing my anti-Reach virus software. While one hero runs interference with the drones the other only has to physically touch his or her egg against an MFD to disable it," Lex Luthor clarifies.
"Alright, I have your assignments. We'll distribute these eggs and go," Captain Atom announces.
"Ladies and gentlemen the fate of the world is in your hands," Luthor declares.
Zatanna and I get assigned an MFD in Bali at the Besakih Temple, and she grabs onto my arm, and I teleport us to Bali.
Zatanna chants a spell, automatically destroying all of the beetle drones. Then, I place a Reach-tech egg against an MFD, effectively disabling it.
"Nice work, Zanobia!" Zatanna congratulates me with a grin.
"Thanks," I reply with a sheepish smile, rubbing my neck with my hand.
"Teleport us to the Watchtower," she orders, to which I nod, and do as such.
"Nice work, Zeta Squad," Snapper Carr tells Zatanna and me with a grin.
Zatanna and I smile at each other, walking toward the others, standing beside Artemis, Wally beside her.
