Zatara's P.O.V.:
"I was young, just twenty-eight, on the road with my act. For the past few years, I'd been entertaining audiences with my astonishing illusions and wondrous wizardry. But now, I had a wife, Sindella, and our 2-year-old daughter, Zatanna, waiting for me back home. My act was a success. My stage illusions we renowned, thanks to a touch of real magic. My audiences were always dazzled. But one night, something went wrong. A curtain caught fire. The fire spread quickly. The audience was in danger. Without a second thought...I used my magic to put out the flames."
"Uh... Presto!" I exclaim nervously, turning toward the audience.
"The audience thought it was all part of the act. My grand finale. But for me, it was a new beginning."

Zanobia's P.O.V.:
"Mother of Goat! Diamond-guy killed Teekl," Thirteen cries in shock.
"Causing Klarion to return to his true form as a Chaos Lord. A form he could not maintain on the Earthly plane," Nabu explains.
Suddenly, the building starts to explode. Then, Zatanna and I chant a spell that saves everyone.
"Ekam su laeroprocni!" We chant as the building collapses.
I chant a leviation spell, getting the rubble off myself, and Zatanna does the same. Then, I grab onto her hand and assist her to her feet. Suddenly, we notice Mary absorbing our student's powers, causing our eyes to widen.
"Power of Zeus!" Mary shouts, after she absorbs our Khalid and Traci's powers.
Child takes a few steps back, dodging the attack.
"I simply cannot understand how Klarion allowed such pathetic creatures to thwart Chaos' will," Child remarks. Then, she grasps her familiar's hand.
"Hmm. Time to unleash the chaos," Child declares, teleporting away from us.
"Etativel," I chant, lifting the debris off Khalid and Traci, lifting the pair to their feet.
