"This Is Harder Than I Thought."
---------------
I Signed My Release Papers Before Kameron Helped Me Get Into The Wheelchair.

I Wanted To Try To Walk On My Own But Dr. Barns Didn't Think That Was A Good Idea, Not Yet That Is.

The Machine Sat Firmly In My Lap As Kameron Rolled Me Through The Hospital.

I Didn't Know What Hospital This Was But It Was Really Fancy.

As We Got To The Exit, Kameron Picked Me Up In His Arms And Carried Me To The Car, Rolling My Cannula Behind Him.

Once We Were Both In The Car, Kameron Glanced At Me. "Are You Okay?"

I Nodded, Touching The Nose Tubes. "Yeah, I'm Fine."

"You Want Me To Take You Home Or You Want To Ride With Me To The Pharmacy To Get Your Vitamin?" He Asked, Starting His Car.

"I Want To Go With You." I Told Him, "Have You Talked To My Mom?"

"Yeah," He Said."She's Doing Great Actually."

I Smiled, "Does She Know About Our Child?"

Kameron's Face Lit Up, "Yes. I Told Her Right After I Found Out. She's Excited For The Both Of Us."

Soon, We Pulled Up To The Pharmacy. "I Want To Try And Walk Kameron."

"No," Kameron Said Sternly, "You Know What Dr. Barns Said, Just Wait Here."

I Unbuckled My Seat Belt, "I Know But I Just Want To Try, If I Don't Then It May Be Harder When I Do Get To Walk Again."

Kameron Sighed Loudly But Ran Over To My Side Anyway And Helped Me Out.

My Legs Shook A Little Bit As I Stood Up But I Soon Regained My Posture.

Every Time I Walked The Structure On My Knee Made A Noise, But It Helped Me Walk.

Kameron Walked Behind Me, Making Sure I Was Okay. Of Course I Was Rolling The Cannula Behind Me.

I Don't Know What The Coincidence Was But We Ran Into Janet.

When She Saw Me She Stuck Bottom Lip Out. "Oh No, What Happened To Wifey?"

I Rolled My Eyes, "An Accident, Now If You'll Excuse Us."

Kameron Mugged Her As We Walked Passed.

"Sorry That You Tumbled Down Some Stairs!" She Yelled After Me.

I Turned To Look At Kameron As He Turned To Look At Me. "Did You--"

Before I Could Finish My Sentence Kameron Had His Hands Around Janet Throat.

"I Knew She Didn't Just Fall You Dirty Hoe." Kameron Said, Still Choking Her. "If We Weren't In This Store I Swear To God You Would Be Already Dead."

I Stopped Him Before She Really Did Die And He Caught A Case. "Kameron Come On, Please Not Here."

He Kept His Grip On Her For A Few Moments After Then Let Her Go.

Kameron Rushed To Me And Picked Me Up, Carrying Me Out The Store.

"Don't Worry About Your Medicine, I'll Call It In And Have One Of My Boys Pick It Up." Kameron Said As He Put Me Inside The Car.

I Nodded My Head. "What's Going To Happen To Her?"

Kameron Started His Car, "She's Gonna Disappear With No Trace. Simple."

"Kameron How'd She Get Into The House?" I Asked, "How'd She Even Know Where We Stayed?"

He Shrugged, "My Only Guess Is She Followed You Or Me. No Telling."

"I Don't Want You Home By Yourself So Ima Take You To Visit Your Mom." I Was Informed.

I Looked Over At Him Quickly. "That's Perfect!"

The Car Ride To The Cancer Treatment Hospital Was Silent, But Somewhat Comforting.

He Helped Me Out The Car And We Headed Straight In To The Sign In Desk.

The Women I Threw A Clipboard At Was Working, Sadly.

Her Posture Straightened, And A Smile Snuck On Her Face. "How May I Help You?"

I Looked Back At Kameron With Such Surprise Before Looking Back. "Just Signing In."

I Signed My Name And Kameron Signed His Plus The Date And Time Then We Were On Our Way.

We Took The Elevator And Never Again Would I Try And Stand In The Elevator On My Own.

When We Got To My Mother's Door Kameron Gave Me A Kiss. "I'm Going To Take Care Of Business. I'll Be Back Later. Love You."

I Nodded Getting Ready To Open The Door, "I Love You Too, Stay Safe."

I Walked Inside My Mother's Room To See Her Watching Tv.

She Stayed Looking At The Tv. "Nurse I Told You, I Don't Want That Damn Medicine!"

I Laughed A Little, Limping In. "Mother It's Me, Bonnie."

Her Face Shifted To Me And She Smiled, "Hey Baby. Oh, Dear. Those Stairs Did A Bit Of Damage. Come Sit."

I Made My Way Over To The Chair Beside Her And Sat. "Don't Worry About Me, I'm Fine. How Are You?"

"I'm Living Honey." She Said Sighing, "I'm Taking It Day By Day."

I Reached Over And Took Her Hand. "Your Gonna Be A Grandmother."

"Yes Child, I Know." She Told Me, "I Knew Even Before You Did. I Just Hope I'm Here To See My Grandbaby."

"Mother!" I Yelled, "Your Gonna Live To See Me And Kameron Have Plenty Of Children. Don't Talk Like That."

"Don't Talk Like What Bonnie? I'm Talking In Nothing But Reality Child." My Mother Spoke.

I Hated To Admit, But My Mother Was Right, She Would Never Tell Me Anything Wrong.

I Watched As My Mother Moved Her Hand To My Belly That Seemed To Not Be Growing.

"Why Aren't I Showing?" I Asked My Mother Curiously.

"How Far Along Are You?" She Asked Back.

"That," I Said, Pausing. "I Don't Know."

"My Mother's Mother, My Mother, And I Had Trouble During Our 2nd Month Of Pregnancy. So When You Start Having Major Pains, Just Know Your 2 Months Along." I Was Sadly Informed.

I Looked Down At My Stomach And Placed My Hands Over It. "Oh Boy."

Within A Few Minutes Of Silence, Kameron Walked In And Took A Seat On Side Of My Mother.

She Slapped His Back, "Don't Just Come In And Sit Without Speaking To Your Mother-In-Law."

He Turned Around And Hugged Her, "Sorry, So What Y'all Been Talking About?"

I Rubbed My Stomach, "We Were Talking About This Little Love In Here."

Kameron Moved To Kiss My Stomach, "A Little Boy Who's Gonna Be Daddy's Twin."

"Boy?" My Mother Questioned, "Cleary The Baby's A Girl."
