"Yes Charles, I Know! You Can't Let Money Make You, You Gotta Make The Money."
--------------
It Has Been Two Years And My Mom Was Diagnosed With Stage 2 Lung Cancer A Year Ago.

I've Still Been Stripping, Making Sure My Mom Gets The Best Treatment.

I Have Plans To Stop In The Future, But I Can't At This Point, Not While There's Shit To Be Done.

I Peeked Into My Bosses Office Seeing If He Was Busy, "Charles?"

He Looked Up From His Phone, Smiling At Me. "Come In, Sit Down."

I Did As He Told Me And Took A Seat As He Gave Me His Full Undivided Attention. "So What's Up? How's Your Mom?"

"She's Doing Better Than Before." I Spoke, Thinking About My Mom's Condition. "I'm Actually Going To Visit Her Today."

My Mom Was Kept In A Cancer Treatment Hospital Since She Had Been Diagnosed And On My Free Time I Visited Her.

"That's Good To Hear." Charles Said Pausing, "How Are You."

I Didn't Even Know How I Was, Tomorrow Was Kamerons Birthday And He Wasn't Here To Celebrate It.

I Avoided Answering The Question. "I Should Go Get Ready To Start My Shift."

Charles Sighed Getting Up To Walk Me To The Door, "Bonnie--"

I Cut His Sentence Short, "Yes Charles, I Know! You Can't Let The Money Make You, You Gotta Make The Money."

I Left The Office And Went To The Dressing Room. It Was Filled With Females Everywhere, Some Undressed.

I Opened My Locker, Seeing A Picture Of Me And Kameron. It Was The Very Last Picture We Took.

He Had Picked Me Up And Placed Me Over His Shoulder As We Laughed.

After Getting Dressed In My Outfit For The Night, I Took A Seat In Front Of My Vanity.

I Placed My Natural Hair In A Low Ponytail Before Placing On My Red Wig.

I Put On Some Makeup Before Locking My Things Back Up And Starting My Day Shift.

With My Bag On My Side, I Exited The Club Heading To My Car.

I Popped My Trunk From My Keys, Placing My Bag Inside Before Getting Inside.

As I Let My Car Warm Up And Cut My Seat Warmer On, I Thought About Another Thing.

I Was Currently Still Paying Off My Car Note For My 2015 White Mazda 6 So I Couldn't Stop Stripping.

I Pulled Out Of The Clubs Parking Lot And Headed To The Cancer Treatment Hospital.

Pulling Into The Parking Lot, I Grabbed My Purse And My Phone And Got Out, Locking The Doors Behind Me.

Walking Into The Cold Building, I Smiled At The Receptionist. "Here To See Dana?"

I Nodded, Handing Her My Identification Card. I Was Here Often So Mostly Everyone Knew Me.

After Signing In I Headed To My Mother's Room. She Was In Bed With Her Oxygen Mask On Watching TV.

She Smiled When She Saw Me. "My Beautiful Bonnie, Hi Baby."

"Hi Momma." I Said, Kissing Her Forehead Before Taking A Seat Beside Her Bed, "How You Feeling?"

"I'm Alive And That's All That Matters." She Told Me. "How About You?"

Usually, I Would Avoid The Question Like Always, But This Was My Mother Asking.

"I've Been Making It, You Know Kamerons Birthday Is Tomorrow."

"Yeah I Know," She Said As If She Was Reminiscing Herself. "That Boy Right There Was A Mess. So What Are You Planning To Do?"

"Well.." I Paused. "I Was Thinking About Meeting Up With His Parents And--"

"Bonnie, Now You Know His Parents Are Immature Adults. Why Would You Want To Meet With Them?"

"Because I Want To Know Where He Was Buried. I Want To Go To His Grave And Talk With Him." I Said, Getting Sad All Over Again.

Kameron And I Used To Have Long Conversations About The Future But Now He Wasn't Here To Live It.

Those Fifteen Years Of Us Being Bestfriends Were The Best Fifteen Years Of My Life.

"Sweetheart, You Are A Strong Person, And If You Want To Try And Reach Out To Kamerons Parents Then Go Ahead."

I Nodded My Head, Getting Up From The Chair. "I'm Gonna Do That. I'll Be Back To See You Tomorrow."

She Embraced Me In A Tight, Warning Hug. "Alright And Bonnie?"

I Looked Her In Her Beautiful Brown Eyes, "Yes Momma?"

"I Love You Sweety!"
