Chapter 113: Rigged
Around 4:00 pm, Team Conquering Clouds are already at Cadillac Arena. Back of the stage of the stage platform in the Cadillac Arena, there was a separate booth that wasn't on the stage. It's was the booth reserved for Jun Feng.
Since the Chinese Glory Pro Alliance Chairman Feng Xianjun are aware of Jun Feng's condition and circumstances, he have made a separate booth.
Not bothering to knock inside the booth, Sun Xiang just opened it and headed inside before closing the door. The temperature inside wasn't comfortable for Sun Xiang. The room wasn't air conditioned but it only have an electric fan. It may not be the perfect room temperature for Sun Xiang but it was just the right preferred temperature for Jun Feng.
When Sun Xiang entered, he saw that Jun Feng was holding his phone and reading whatever the contents of his phone right now. Noticing his presence, Jun Feng remove his gaze from the phone and stare at him
" Sun-gege. "
" Jun Feng."
Blinking at him, Jun Feng asked.
" Do you need something Sun-gege?"
Approaching Jun Feng closer, Sun Xiang's blue eyes were gazing at Jun Feng intensely. Sun Xiang replied.
" Zhang Yuan and the others have mentioned that you are acting odd... "
Sun Xiang briefly averted his gaze for a moment before he continued speaking
" They are right... If there was something that you aren't comfortable with, we can ask the staffs to change it. "
Jun Feng chuckled at Sun Xiang's words and his awkward expression.
When it comes to comforting someone, Sun Xiang wasn't good at it. But Jun Feng can feel his previous gloomy mood lightening.

On the month of June, even it wasn't as hype like the playoffs of the regular season of the Chinese glory pro alliance, some people would still attend to watch the Challenger's League.
Today on June 4, 2021, unlike the previous season's qualifying challenger's league tournament, the Cadillac Stadium where the Challenger's League offline matches would be held are already full unlike the previous challenger's league where there are only few people.
For today's Challenger League matches, the commentator would be Ju Bao and Ling Niao who was also the commentator for the online matches of Challenger's League.
They may not be as good as Li Yibo and Pan Lin who has a lot of knowledge and experience regarding glory. Li Yibo and Pan Lin are the Alliance's best commentator because they are the one with the most accurate predictions. But Ju Bao and Ling Niao's lack of knowledge are replace by their enthusiasm and energy that they put in their commentating. Specially for Ju Bao who was entering in his 'wrestling commentator' voice which the audience like and felt amusement.
Around 5:30 pm, the 20 captain's of each team were called by Chairman Feng Xianjun to draw. In the offline matches, the 20 groups would be separated into a group of 4. Group A, B, C and D before it would enter the playoffs and fight for the Championship.
In each of the group matches which would last for 2 rounds before entering playoffs there would be lucky team's that would automatically enter pass for 2 rounds. The top 2 of each group would be the one qualified to enter the playoffs.
For the offline matches today, all of the maps would be chosen by the Alliance.
When it was finally's Zhang Yuan turned to pick from the raffle, before going to draw he decided to go at Jun Feng first patting Jun Feng's head much to the latter's confusion before heading to draw for his team.
When he took out the draw stick, a happy grin made in Zhang Yuan's face when he have drawn out the golden colored popsicle stick with a single letter D written into it.
' It worked. '
Team Conquering Clouds get an automatic free pass for the first round.
At exactly 6:00, the offline matches started and the first round ended in 6:45 pm. There are only 12 teams remaining and 3 teams for each group. After the first round, the Captains would draw lots again for the second round for each group. There would be 4 lucky team's for each round.
When it was time for Zhang Yuan to draw again, the other two captain's from group D decided to have him draw first. Shrugging, Zhang Yuan accepted their offer and use his hands to took out the stick from the raffle box.
The two captains from group D then cursed inside their minds when they saw the stick Zhang Yuan was holding. It was Golden Color.
Among the other team captains that have drawn the golden stick pass, Zhang Yuan was the only captain that have drawn golden stick two times.
That means that Zhang Yuan's team conquering clouds would automatically enter the playoffs of the Challenger's League.
The enemy team fans which was the minority of the audience in the Cadillac Stadium started calling foul or rigged. But those audience who came to support team conquering clouds and Rex V Anima cheered.
Some of them started shouting. 'God hand' while others shouted 'God luck'.
Zhang Jiale who was watching the Challenger's League in the television right now on Esports Channel at K City, felt that he would die of envy as he have witnessed Zhang Yuan's godly luck.
Checking the Glory Pro Players QQ chat group, as expected he could see some pros mentioning his name.
