Chapter 73: Permission and Education
Placing two cups of tea in front of them, Mr. Shen gives them an apologetic expression.
" I apologize that we only currently have Green tea at moment. "
Nodding slightly, Zhang Yuan replied.
" It was fine Mr. Shen. "
He and Yue Ziqin accepted the cup of green tea prepared for them. He then picked them up and took a sip before placing them down on the table.
" Once again I introduced ourselves, I am Zhang Yuan, and this is Yue Ziqin.. "
Nodding slightly, Mr. Shen then said.
" I know. Chao-Xin and Hao lan informed me earlier before you arrived... "
Mr. Shen said glancing at the side where Chao Xin and Hao Lan were currently sitting. The former gives a sheepish expression while the latter was calm.
" You two are Jun Feng's acquaintances in the game and you wanted permission from us for him to participate in the Glory's tournament. "
" Indeed, Mr. Shen. Currently, we are asking permission for the Challenger's league online stage. "
Yue Ziqin then passed a form to Mr. Shen. The latter then accepted the form and started reading it. Jun Feng's mother then arrive and greeted the two people before Mr. Shen passes the form to her. She took it and started reading the form. After a while, she passed back the form and said.
" There's not a problem with the consent form but I think that this form would only be applicable during what have you called it?... Online Tournament, if I am not wrong. "
" Then..."
Zhang Yuan trailed off. Smiling, Mrs. Shen replied.
" We would agree to sign the form but let's have a new form again once it was the offline match of the Challenger's League. "
There was a smile and relieve looks on Zhang Yuan and Yue Ziqin's faces. They were glad that looks like it didn't seem difficult to have Jun Feng's parents agree. Truthfully, they expected some resistance and that it would take a little more convincing to have them agree to sign the form.
Glancing at Chao-Xin and Hao Lan, Zhang Yuan knows that it was easier to have Jun Feng's agreement because of Chao-Xin and Hao Lan. They were the ones who take most of the workload of easing the idea of Jun Feng joining the tournament. They also helped him make the form.
Before Hao Lan has gone home during the All-Star-Weekend on Saturday, he made sure to exchange some numbers with him. They have several talks over the phone and online during this week and Hao Lan is also the one who gives them their Shen Family Residence address.
Jun Feng's parents then signed the form. Zhang Yuan and Yue Ziqin then talk with Jun Feng's parents for a while before thanking them and leaving.

[ January 18, 2021- Monday ]
After I told them the story of Zhang Yuan and Yue Ziqin going into my home and my parents agreeing for me to join the Challenger's League offline competition, Watchful Hound and Twilight Rose then congratulated me.
" It's good that your parents agreed. "
Cross Knife said. The relief in his voice wasn't obvious. But if he said those words, then he must be happy for me.
