Runner To Be

Your dream had just come true. Ever since you saw the Runners for the first time you've wanted to become one. After many talk with Newt, he finally said yes.

Tonight, Newt had something special planned because tomorrow was your first day. He didn't tell want it was but only to be ready by 7.

Around 6, you started getting ready. You took and shower then changed into the dress that you requested from the Creators. It was a purple spaghetti strap dress the came to about mid thigh. You applied some mascara and eyeliner with a touch of lip stick and headed to the forest.

When you arrived, you saw the most romantic thing. There sat Newt with a candle lit dinner and Newt with his fanciest outfit.

"Hello, love," he said smiling. He got up and he rushed and wrapped your arms around him.

"Your so sweet, Newtie." Newt smiled. He loved it when you called him that.

"Anything for my new Runner." He kisses you and you smiled. He pulled away. "Come on, let's eat."

He guided you to the table and pulled the chair out for you. You sat, smiling as he gently pushed you in. Then he sat across from you. In front of you was a beef stew with a slice of Italian bread.

"Oh, Newt, this looks delicious," you look up at Newt.

"Anything for you, Y/N." He took your hand and gently kissed it making you blush. He was such a gentleman. "Now, let's dig in."

After you ate, you walked hand in hand to the look out tower. The two of you climbed up and stared at the stars.

"It's so beautiful," you stated as you gazed at the start sky.

Newt kisses your cheek. "Not as beautiful as you." You smiles as he wraps his arms around you. You curled up close and laid your head on his shoulder.

You started kissing his neck. "I love you Newt."

"I love you, Y/N." Together you cuddled until you both fell asleep.
