"Come on, tell me," Noah says.

"It's fine Noah," I say and notice our other friends, Evan and Alex. "It's really not important."

Noah looks dissapointed, but he doesn't push it any further. I smile at him and walk to Evan and Alex.

"Hey you two," I say in the happiest voice I can imagine.

Alex looks at me with a concerned expression, somehow he knew something was wrong.

"Nick, what happened?"

"Nothing," I lie.

Noah walks over to us, happily. Which I think to Alex, said it all, because my face, for just a moment had a sad smile.

"Guys you won't believe it," he exclaims. "Oh, hey Nick!"

"Hey again Noah."

"What happened dude," Evan asks.

Alex, before even hearing what Noah had to say, hugged me.

Noah didn't notice this though and he continued to say what had just happened to him. "Alexia agreed to be my girlfriend!"

"I'm so happy for you dude," Evan exclaimes.

Alex doesn't look at Noah, but he also expresses his happiness for him. Although I am upset about what happened, I'm not mad at any of them. "Me too Noah, I thought it'd never happen."

Alex grabs my wrist, "I hope you don't mind me taking him for a second," he says and we leave.

Alex pulls me into the boys bathroom. It's very distracting and it's not Alex making it like that, it's the horrible smell going into our noses. I think he smells it too. Well I mean of course he does, who wouldn't?

"You like Noah don't you?" Wow straight to the point. Alex has always been like that, why am I being so dumb today?

"I do," I say and look at him, tears forming in my eyes. "I was going to tell him today actually, but Alexia got to him first."

I then laugh and wash my face. "It's funny, huh?" "No, Nick it isn't funny," Alex says. But I continued anyway, "I had 6 years to tell him and I missed the chance."

Alex hugged me again.

"Let it out," he says.

Right then and there my eyes started pushing out all the tears I had been holding in.

I guess me and Noah were just not meant to be.
