Two forces clash, an endless war,
Voiceless rivals, within they roar,
Light and truth, faith and goodness,
Against the thoughts of wickedness,
Fear and evil exhortations,
And iniquitous inclinations,
Until darkness is banished forever,
This war the sound soul will endeavor.
