Young love that innocent expressive eruption,
When feelings overflow in complete incorruption,
Refreshing, undulating, as a spring's fountain,
Undeterred by obstacles, valley or mountain,
And unless the subject of affection refrains,
From returning love, causing the lover great pain,
The torrent of yearning will remain unspoken,
Or else refused, will leave the lover heartbroken.
