How far has man come with his fine refinement,
From a primeval primitive to a lord and a gent,
With simple pleasures and provisions, he was once content,
Now with posh tastes and great riches came dissent,
One goal to gather, greed his pride and torment,
Yet more worthless appurtenances does he still invent,
For trinkets and treasures relationships he would resent,
Accumulating wealth he cites no percent,
Uncultured society he would augment,
He claims he is boorish primates' academic ascent,
But in actuality, he's a decrepit descent,
His refinement is nothing but discontent.
