"What if we walk out and maybe then he'll wake up." a voice rings in my ears. "I mean he does love ignoring us, so I guess it could work." fucking Harry.
I try to move but immediately frown when pain strikes like a lightning through my body. The whole room goes quiet as I start to move my fingers. My whole body is aching. "You boys shut up before I slap all of your seven senses out of you." I almost laugh at the voice of my own mother. I'm glad she's here and safe.
I force my eyes open only to see all the guys and mom standing there, hovering over me. I simply just close my eyes again. "I told you he loves ignoring u-" Harry gets cut of when someone slaps the back of his head. I'm pretty sure that was mom.
"Hey you, how are you?" mom sits down on my bed, holding my hand and I open my eyes again only to see bruises on her face and arms. Now I'm more awake than ever. "What happened to you?" I want to sit up but get pushed back down by Emilio. "You gotta rest, man."
"It's nothing, more like what happened to you?" she tilts her head and all the guys stare at me, waiting for an answer.
Violet. I lost her, they took her with them. I saw it happen in front of my eyes and failed when I tried to save her. Shit. I scan around the room but only see the boys standing in front of me, the brown haired girl with that amazingly smart mouth nowhere to be seen.
"Logan?" "Where's Violet?" ignoring all the pain I force my body up and try to get out of bed when all of them stop me. Only now I realize that I'm at the hospital.
"Logan calm down, what about Violet?" Cole asks and I visibly tense. I'm so fucking dead. I drag my hand down my face, lying back down as they all await an answer from me. For fucks sake what do they want me to tell them?
Oh yeah sorry I lost your cousin at the mafia ball I took her to. I can't fucking say that!
"It's- nothing." I shake my head but of course mom is as clueless as ever and starts talking. "Did she get home safely after the ball?" I try to glare at her but all my muscles hurt so I just stop. "You can't just stop talking for once can yo-" I stop talking once she hits the side of my head, glaring at me. "Do not talk to your mother like this Logan." I put my hands up in surrender.
The guys' mouths hang open as Cole's jaw is clenched. "What does she mean?" he grits. I sigh, closing my eyes and try to find a way out of it but I just simply don't. "I may have done something bad... can you please just tell me where she is and I'll explain?"
"That's the thing we'd tell you if we knew where she is." fuck. "I took her to the mafia ball with me." I say quickly and all the guys slap their hands in front of their mouth simultaneously and Cole's muscles tense.
