Steve panicked as he realised he was alone. He frantically looked around the vine filled trailer, searching for a chair or something to help him get up through the gate. When he couldn't find one he realised he was just going to have to jump and pull himself up and through.
He looked down at his hands and frowned, realised they were covered in bandages. As soon as he focused on his hands he felt the excruciating pain that went with his injured hands. How was he going to get out now without completely losing what was left of his hands?
Something started to bang on the locked trailer door, startling him. He started to panic even more as he realised he wouldn't be getting out of the upside down. He wondered where his friends were and if they were okay.
The banging on the door increased, letting him know there was more than one creature out there waiting for him. He was trapped. He looked around for some kind of weapon to use. He wasn't going down without a fight. Steve spotted his bat and grabbed it, trying to ignore the burning sensation that shot through his hands as he did. He planned to go down swinging.
"Steve!"
Steve jumped as his name came from above him. He quickly looked up and his eyes landed on a hooded figure, their gloved hands reaching out to him. He was slightly worried about this person whose face he couldn't see but he would rather take his chances than stay and get eaten alive by demodogs.
He threw his bat up first and the figure grabbed it, swiftly dropping it below them. Steve braced himself for the pain as he jumped up and grabbed onto the mystery persons hands. However, there was no pain at all and he was quickly pulled up through the gate, like he weighed nothing.
Before he knew it he landed on his back on Eddie's old mattress. Steve stared up with wide eyes when he realised the hooded figure was literally standing on the ceiling, completely defying gravity.
Steve scrambled to get up as the figure gracefully flipped themselves over and landed on their feet, their hood somehow staying perfectly in place.
"Who are you?"
The hooded figure stayed silent and Steve frowned as they started walking slowly towards him instead, their hands reaching out for him. Instead of backing up and away like he should have he stayed put, feeling glued to the spot. It was like he had no control over his body.
Steve watched as the figure removed their gloves and threw them down. When they were standing right infront of him they reached out and grabbed his bandaged hands. Once again, he expected to feel pain but none came. He watched in amazement as a red glow eminated from the figures hands and caused his own to glow as well.
His hands started to feel warm and he tried to pull them away even though he knew it wouldn't work. His hands started to get warmer but it wasn't uncomfortable or painful. In fact, the palms of his hands felt a little itchy but it wasn't unbearable. He looked up from his hands and at the figure, only able to see their chin. The hood did a good job of hiding whoever it was. Even though he couldn't see their face he could feel them staring back at him.
After a few moments the warm, red glow started to dull until there was nothing left. The figure let go of his hands and stepped back, pausing to observe him before making their way to the door. As they turned Steve was able to make out a smirk. A very familiar smirk.
"Billy?" He asked, staring at the figure in shock and confusion.
The hooded figure froze just as they were halfway out of the door and the hood of the cloak slipped a little, confirming Steve's suspisions. He was met with those familiar, bright blue eyes for a brief second before Billy vanished from sight.
