I sipped on my water after I calmed myself down. We are currently here at Kronus' penthouse arguing for the last one hour and we're just running in circles.

"Babe, look, I know that this isn't what we planned but we'll eventually get married, right?" Aniya.

"Yeah, eventually. But Kronus, when you proposed, didn't I tell you we're not having a wedding in the next 3-4 years? And then in the last few months, I thought that maybe we can get married earlier than that. Maybe after dad named me the CEO of Demetriou hotel. I already considered getting married without building a good name in the business yet, but this?" I sighed, "I know you understand. Yeah, sure we can get married next year or I don't know.. early next next year but what your mother did? I just wished you backed me up."

He stared at me for a bit.

Naupo ako sa sofa at binalik ang tingin sa kanya, "I will talk to my parents about me moving in, okay? And then, we'll talk about the wedding."

Tumango siya at naupo sa tabi ko, "Alright, we do that."

Sumandal ako at iniwas ang tingin sa kanya, "But now, my parents are thinking about it, too."

"Hmm," he pursed his lip, "We move in first, then we'll talk about this, okay?"

I nodded.

Matapos ang pag-uusap namin ay nagpahatid ako pauwi. Kailangan ko pang kausapin ang mga parents ko. Kanina nang matapos ang dinner ay nagpaalam akong sasama muna kay Kronus para mapag-usapan namin ito at nangako rin ako kay Mommy na uuwi ako.

Si Daddy ang sumalubong sa akin sa bungad ng pinto ng bahay namin. Mariin niya akong tinignan bago tumalikod at naglakad paakyat.

"Dad," I called.

"In my office," aniya.

Tahimik akong sumunod sa kanya. I don't know what am I feeling right now. Hindi naman ako kinakabahan and I am also not scared. Maybe I just feel bad that this came out this way? Or I don't know, maybe what I wanted was when I finally decided to set a date for the wedding they will be the first to know? And most importantly, they will hear it from me. Well, that's not the case now, is it?

Mommy was sitting at the single sofa on my dad's living area in his office, nakaupo na rin si Daddy sa katabing sofa. I went there and immediately sat on the large sofa in front of them.

"Gaia Athena, what was that?" Mom asked.

I sighed, "I am so sorry, Mom."

"What are you sorry about?"

"That isn't really the final decision. It just so happened that when we had dinner at Kronus' house, his mom was pressuring us," ani ko.

"About the wedding?" Dad asked.

I nodded, "She wouldn't stop talking about it so Kronus said next year."

Tumingin si Mommy kay Dad bago muling bumaling sa akin, "What do you want to happen, Gaia?"

"I want to talk to you about me moving in with Kronus before you leave for the Philippines," I said, "Mom, dad, iyon po sana ang plano ko."

"Are you sure about that?" Dad asked.

I nodded.

"I will not interfere with your decisions in life, Gaia. Malaki ka na, alam mo na kung ano ang tama at mali. If you think that living with your boyfriend is what's right at the moment, then go do it. You're a smart girl, I know you will live with the responsibilities that come with it," Dad seriously said.
