Chapter 10: Back To You (Season 1 Final)

Brady realized it was the weekends and he promised his friends earlier he would do skateboarding activities with them. He walked downstairs to greet his parents.

Brady: Morning mom and dad.

Hugo: Good morning Brady. How did you sleep?

Brady: He lied. I slept well...I stopped having nightmares.

Hugo: Really? That's wonderful. If anything troubles you, you know I'll always have your back.

Brady: Dad, it's Saturday. Mind if I go skating with Keeran and Isaiah?

Hector: Of course, you can meet up with your friends again. But just be careful when crossing the streets.

Unfortunately for Hugo, he has to work for this day on the weekends. He told Christa it's time for him to go to work but he will be home late since the meeting is going to be very long.

Hugo: Darling, it's time for me to leave for work.

Hugo: Unfortunately, there will be a long meeting so I will most likely be home late today.

Christa: It's alright, Hugo. I totally understand and I will wait patiently for you.

Hugo: I love you and I'll miss you. He kissed her and left.

Christa was left standing in the living room wondering what she should do for the day.

Christa: She thought to herself. I will help our maids with the gardening. I'm pretty sure they are exhausted.

She was outside helping her maids pour water over the plants to make them grow. Shortly after, she was seen reading a book to Brennan while they were sitting on a giant couch in the living room. Brennan seemed to be super eager to listen as he nodded his head and smiled. A few hours passed and Christa felt like taking a short nap since she felt a bit tired and went to sleep.

That was when she started to dream about Stefan. She was all alone in the mansion but she wasn't aware. The servants were not seen anywhere. Brady and Brennan also didn't exist.

Christa: On the inside. I feel so lonely without Hugo...but he says he's going to be back.

As she was looking outside from her balcony, she thought she saw a figure behind the trees adjacent to their mansion, but then she blinked her eyes and the figure disappeared.

Christa: On the inside. Weird. I thought someone was there.

She went to take a short bath to calm herself down. Finally, Hugo was seen walking into Christa's room since it seemed that he finished work early. However, deep down...It wasn't Hugo. It was Stefan in disguise.

Fake Hugo: Hello Christa... I came back at last. He embraced and kissed her on the cheek.

Christa: You're home earlier than I expected. Was the meeting not too long after all?

Fake Hugo: The meeting got postponed and I finished work a lot earlier.

Fake Hugo: But how are you, my darling?

Christa: I'm happy you are here with me. I missed you so much, Hugo.

Christa: Brady is still out and Brennan is probably downstairs entertaining himself.

Fake Hugo: Splendid. There's nothing better than being at home with your loved one. He continued stroking and hugging her, but something didn't sit right with her about him.

Christa: Hugo, how come you're colder than normal? I hope you aren't getting sick...

Fake Hugo: It was just cold at work. I won't get sick because I need to stay strong all for you.
