Just a note: thank you for reading and for the votes. You guys are awesome. If you need someone to talk to about these issues, I am here for everyone. Also, I am not trying to romanticize self harm. I just had this idea for this book and decided to write it. I am not trying to offend anyone by this story. Thanks again! Love ya!hi, its luke. just wondering if maybe we can grab lunch tomorrow and maybe go for a walk around the local park. let me know.
anna read the new message from luke and sighed inward. she didnt want him to get close, yet she did.
she was having this battle in her mind- let him in and maybe he can do good in her life, or let him in and let him destroy her. either option seemed terrifying.
the continuous turmoil in her mind caused her to unconsciously reach for her used sharpeners.
she carefully unscrewed the blade and removed it. she rolled up her shirt and pressed the cool metal to her skin. the older blade caused rips and tears in her skin instead of clean, smooth lines.
frustrated, anna slowly sat down on the floor staring at the blade in her hand.
she wanted to be happy. she really did. she just didnt know how to be.
luke on the other hand, anxiously waited for her to answer his message. he just sat and stared at what he wrote.
he thought anna was beautiful. deep brown eyes that seemed to hold so much emotion and so many stories. he wanted to know her, to understand her. he felt so drawn to her character and to her being- it was something he didnt understand.
he laid down and thought.
his phone buzzed in his hand.
