Chapter 17: Cerberus

[George PoV]

"What the fuck was that?"

I shouted to Phil Karl and sapnap.

"Did someone know about it?"

It went quiet when I asked the question.
We've been living with Dream for seven years and he never even told us.
We continued to watch the angry three headed dog.

[Dream PoV]

I knew that they were probably angry on me for not have told them.
But I didn't care anymore. I've been so afraid of showing this side of me that I let them kill
(y/n).
If I didn't do anything I would probably never forgive myself.
It was a long time ago I was in this body and it felt so weird controlling three heads at the same time and it was also confusing with my sight since of the four extra eyes.
I inhaled a little as I tried to light up something down my throat.
I didn't want to destroy the house so I just took one of my paws and pushed both Schlatt and Quackity off from the roof where they had barricaded themselves.

I knew that Sapnap loved Quackity, well at least he did until this.
I punched them until where there was nothing more than grass and some flowers.
It started to rain and I knew that I would not hurt so much of the ground. I inhaled for a moment and then blasted the flames that grew in my throat killing both of the men.

When they were gone I calmed down and changed back to the normal me. I walked towards the other guys that just stood there glaring without giving one of them a look.

I walked straight towards (y/n) lifeless cold body as I hugged him hard and sat down at his side.

"Why hasn't he turned into dust yet?"

Phil then said not knowing that he just lost his third and last life.
When you've lost your last life you don't turn to dust. You just lay there until someone take a torch and burn the body.
When no one answered the male understood.

"This was his last life wasn't it?"

He asked but already knew the answer.

Something was off. When I sat down here the body was cold, but now, I started to sweat.

"Is something wrong?"

Phil asked me when he realised how hot I felt.

"Phil can you touch the scales?"

I asked and the male did as I asked. He quickly took his hand off as it turned red from the heat.

"What is that?"

George asked.

"Doesn't someone need to light the corpse on fire?"

Sapnap asked.
Before we all knew it the body started to smoke and then started to burn by itself. There was big flames and it was really hot. It was not red yellowish colours at the flames. They were purple blueish instead.

"What the fuck is wrong."

Was the only words that Karl could get out of his mouth before the big black dragon started to turn into ashes before everything of the big body was gone.

We all stood looking on the place where the dragon just had lied.

"Phil you read much, what just happened?"

George asked thinking Phil knew everything

"I don't know mate, maybe dragons do that"
"I mean we've never seen a dragon fossil ever before."

Phil gave as an answer

[three months later]

We had been home all four since the incident and Karl had moved in here instead. We had not seen either Schlatt or Quackity since the day I killed them. Phil had been visiting everyday since it happened. That last week when (y/n) was still living with us he had been given a room. No one of us had touched anything in the room until we decided that we were ready to let go. The others was ready but I didn't know yet. I wanted to be able to let him go and try to move on but at the same time I didn't want anyone to touch a thing in that room...ever

Phil was at our house over for dinner.
We sat down at the table when I started to talk.

"We'll do it."

Everyone understood what I meant and no one needed to ask. I had barely eaten since he died. I thought that if we walked through the room maybe I would feel better.
After we had eaten we decided that Phil would go home and tell the kids that was not really kids anymore. If they wanted to say goodbye we thought. Tomorrow we would do it...
