Things proved to be chaotic for Naerin over the next few days. She found herself in the police station more times than expected. Usually of her own accord, a few times because her brother started to get fed up with Naerin's habit of stealing things that weren't hers.

Naerin's brother sat down across from her with a long sigh. Upon seeing her brother sit down on the other side of his desk, Naerin glanced up from her phone and gave him a sweet smile. One that he quickly rolled his eyes at and held his hand out.

Naerin smirked and reached into her pocket producing his wallet. She placed it in his hand and he quickly snatched it out of his hand, opening the wallet to make sure she didn't take anything else out. When he noticed his credit card was missing, he gave Naerin another pointed look.

"Can you be serious for one moment?" Inhyuk snapped.

"Well that's no fun," Naerin smiled, the faint memory of meeting her soulmate resurfacing from that one sentence.

"At this rate, you might actually get arrested," Inyuk frowned.

"I only steal from you," Naerin joked as she placed Inhyuk's credit card on his desk, "And I always return everything,"

Inhyuk frowned. He stared at his younger sister with inquiring eyes. As often as Naerin ended up at the police station, it typically was of her own accord. She rarely acted out enough to be dragged to the station by Inhyuk's coworkers. It led him to believe that something had happened, but Inhyuk had always struggled to read his younger sister's emotions.

"Is something wrong?" Inhyuk asked.

Naerin gave him a weird look, "Where did you come up with that conclusion?" her voice was joking but she subtly avoided eye contact with Inhyuk by rolling her eyes.

"Did Dad call?"

Naerin tensed and scoffed. Her relaxed demeanor slipped away at the mention of their father. She turned her neck to the side letting the satisfying crack resonate through the silence. "Where did you come up with that idea," she replied, her voice harsher than she had intended.

Inhyuk sighed, "If it isn't him, then what is it?"

Naerin looked at Inhyuk before sighing and shrugging. A gentle buzz from her phone caught her attention and Naerin pulled out her phone. "It's not that big of a deal," she said as she replied to the text message she had received. "I met my soulmate,"

It took a few seconds before Inhyuk reacted. Her words didn't seem to register right away and Naerin could quite literally see the pieces being assembled together in his mind. His expression was blank at first, borderline confused before his eyes widened and he shot to his feet.

"Before me?" Inhyuk exclaimed.

Naerin sighed, she knew her brother would react this way. She gently pulled him back into his seat when she noticed his coworkers looking their way. She gave Inhyuk a pointed look but he only stared back at her.

"Who are they?" he asked.

"I don't think I can tell you just yet," Naerin replied, remembering that her soulmate was an idol. She figured his company probably had some rules regarding the matter and she didn't want to tell anyone about Jisung before she had a talk with him about it all.

"What?" Inhyuk gave her a long stare, "Are they a criminal or something?"

"No," Naerin shook her head, her eyes glued to her phone, "I just need to talk to them first before I can tell you anything,"

"You make it sound like they're threatening you or something," Inhyuk gave Naerin a long look and Naerin shrugged which only made Inhyuk's expression become more serious. Sensing her brother's seriousness, Naerin sighed and sat up straight.
