Last week in October, Dispatch released a photo of NCT Jisung leaving a restaurant with what is speculated to be his soulmate. Fans speculate that the girl with the young idol is his girlfriend and soulmate and that he has known her for a while now. Recently over the summer, Jisung halted schedules and stage performances due to a knee injury preceding the release of NCT Resonance Pt. 1 and has continued to not appear in performances in NCT Resonance Pt. 2.
Fans believe that the reason for his hiatus is due to his injury as well as the discovery of his soulmate.
SM Entertainment has yet to release a statement regarding the rumors surrounding the youngest member of NCT.

Jisung's phone had been blowing up all day long but he refused to even look at his. Messages from his group members as well as his manager were blowing up his phone and the constant ringing of his phone had finally resulted in Jisung turning his phone off.
The only members who got to see or speak to Jisung that day were the dreamies. The article had been released first thing in the morning and once they got news of it, Renjun, Jeno, and Jaemin hadn't left Jisung's side since.
He appreciated the company of his hyungs, it was nice to be sitting together in his room even if they weren't speaking to each other most of the time. But Jisung had to admit, his bed barely even fit him and Naerin on it, so having Jeno and Jaemin clamber onto his bed and pile on didn't make for a comfortable arrangement.
"If you guys insist on being with me all day, can we at least move to the living room?" Jisung said, his legs being crushed under Jaemin's heavy body.
"I'm pretty comfortable," Jeno said.
"That's because you're on top!" Jisung exclaimed.
Renjun glanced back from where he had been sitting at Jisung's desk. For the majority of the time, Renjun had been sketching in his notebook at Jisung's desk, only hoping onto the pile of bodies every once in a while to show his love.
"I know you probably don't want to talk about it, but have you told Naerin?" Renjun asked.
Jaemin and Jeno rolled off of Jisung and took a seat normally on his bed, allowing Jisung to finally sit up and fold his legs under him. Jisung shook his head, admitting that he hadn't spoken to his soulmate all day.
"I turned my phone off when all the calls started to come in," Jisung admitted, "I'm honestly too scared to turn it back on,"
The other three boys nodded their heads in understanding. They honestly believed it was probably for the better that Jisung didn't turn his phone on. As much as they knew that the comments from fans weren't the only thing that mattered in the world, it was still hurtful to see hateful and rude comments aimed at them.
