When Naerin woke up, she found herself in an unfamiliar bed in a room that wasn't her own. Someone's soft voice spoke in the dim lighting of the room but Naerin's eyes were still blurry with sleep.
Shifting in bed, Naerin tried to make out what the person was saying as she closed her eyes once again. Unable to open them for longer than ten seconds at a time, Naerin lulled somewhere between sleep and consciousness.
"Hyung, there's someone behind you... Ah, you just died."
Naerin blinked her eyes forcefully and slowly pulled herself to sit up.
"I already told you, I'm not turning on my camera,"
Her eyes took a moment to adjust to the dim lighting of the room. She looked around the room once more and blinked a few times to try and see the figure sitting in the seat at the desk.
"Because Naerin is sleeping, don't be stupid,"
When Naeirn's eyes were finally able to focus on Jisung, he had already turned around in his chair. Having heard her moving around, Jisung had turned to see if she was awake. Their eyes locked for a moment and he smiled gently at her.
"I'm leaving now. Naerin just woke up," He took his headphones off and quickly made his way over to Naerin.
Still groggy with sleep, Naerin didn't react much as Jisung sat on the bed next to her. His hair was wet like he had just gotten out of the shower and he wore a pair of casual sweatpants and a dark t-shirt.
"Good afternoon,"
Naerin hummed gently in reply and leaned toward Jisung. Her head landed softly on his chest and Jisung laughed as Naerin closed her eyes once more. Jisung hesitated at first but eventually wrapped his arm around Naerin. His thumb drew gentle circles into her back as she leaned into his warm body.
"Did you sleep well?" Jisung asked.
Naerin hummed again in reply, this time half-asleep.
"Are you hungry?" Jisung's chest vibrated when he spoke, his low voice baiting Naerin to fall back asleep. "It's almost noon,"
Naerin hummed again and was about to let sleep take her when she pause. Sitting straight up, Naerin's head nearly connected with Jisung's chin as she jumped away from him.
"Noon?" she asked in shock, this time wide away.
Jisung's eyes widened at her suddenly frantic expression. "Yes?"
"My phone!" Naerin looked around quickly, now slightly panicking, "Where's my phone? Oh my god," She started to crawl out of the bed, looking everywhere up and down while Jisung looked around confused.
"Wait- Naerin-" Jisung said but Naerin already started to climb over him and toward the nightstand. "Hold on-"
Jisung couldn't grab Naerin as she slipped out of the bed and fell onto the ground. In a frantic attempt to catch herself, Naerin grabbed Jisung's shirt and the two fell to the ground together.
Naerin groaned gently at the painful feeling in her back from the hard landing, but it quickly disappeared when she realized Jisung had his arms braced over her to stop himself from landing on her.
"Are you alright?" Jisung asked, his eyes wide. He was freaking out himself a little bit by how panicked Naerin was earlier. Seeing her freaking out made him stressed out and Jisung had a track record of getting confused easily when stressed out.
Before Naerin could reply to Jisung however, the door to his room creaked open and Jeno peeked his head inside.
"Is everything alright? We heard a loud bang outside," Jeno's voice drifted off when his eyes tracked from the bed down to where Jisung and Naerin were. "Oh- I'm sorry, I'm leaving," he started to close the door when Jisung jumped to his feet.
