August 28th
I woke up around 4 this morning with a stabbing pain in my left side. It was literally unbearable. I hit the call thingy for my nurse, and by the time she came in I was already sobbing in pain.
They took me to an exam room and apparently my kidneys are like doing worse. I don't know, I've felt so good, so maybe it was too good to be true. Anyway, they said there's like a build up of fluid on my left kidney, and they're glad they caught it this soon because it could've got really bad.
My right side is fine, I mean it's infected, but with the right antibiotics it should be okay. The doctors say that they'll keep an eye on me, and if it gets worse, they'll have to remove my kidney.
I hope that doesn't happen.
So I've been up for 7 hours watching the small TV in the corner of my room, sipping on water. School is in today, so I still have a few hours before I can text Luz. I really hope she can come see me today, I think the cure to my sickness is my super cute otter gf.
Anyway. Letters.
I know who the last letter is going to. It's my last because I don't know anyone else who I wan't it to go. You probably know who.
I thought for a while. I considered ripping up the letters and throwing them away. I'm getting better, you know? There wont be a need for the letters soon, cause I'm gonna get better, obviously.
But there's always the chance that wont happen.
So I'm gonna keep writing. In this diary, and on the letters.
I think it's kind of crazy. I've filled like 7 diaries in my lifetime. I was just starting this one when I got sick, so maybe it's a sign? A sign that.. something horrible happened in my life, but I got better?
I wonder what will happen to my other diaries. My room.
Luz, if you're reading this.. I want you to have them. Call Emira, she knows where they are.
Sincerely, Amity
Luz was a little startled at seeing her name, but she closed the diary, and grabbed her phone.
She hesitated over Emira's contact, debating if she really wanted to do this. Softly, she pressed the call button.
It rang.
"Luz?"
"Hey Em, how are you?"
"I'm okay, thanks. How are you? Do you need something?" The greenette questioned.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Uh, are you home? I.. Amity wrote in her diary about her other ones, and.. I wanted to know if I could come over and get them?" Luz spat out nervously.
There was a pause on the other side, then some slight shuffling.
"Yeah, yeah I'm home. Come on over,"
"Okay. Thanks, see you,"
Luz ended the call and exhaled. She didn't realize how much she'd been shaking. She placed her phone in her pocket and walked out of her bedroom, slipping on her Vans on the way out. She crept down to Eda's room, and tapped the door with her knuckle.
