Chapter 4

A love fight
But what would an hopeless teenage girl do to a very rich business man with highly trained body guards roaming about him like flies.She had to get to him somehow.

And besides she didn't want to go to jail.

She was in her train of thoughts when she was jolted back to reality when she was asked a question.

"Can you do me a favor"

She would do anything for her dad.Even though he remarried and had another child she could not blame him.At least if it was in favor to avenge her mother's death,,she would gladly do it.

"Yes"she replied.

"I don't want anyone to know about me yet.We don't want me to be killed again do we?"he said.

And she smiled as she agreed to everything.If only seeing her dad was enough for her but him being perfectly ok was too much for her.They promised each other that they wouldn't see each other consistently but she would be regularly informed by a man,Mr Thomas who would assist them in their task.What they needed to do was to assassinate the man who was after her dad's life and take back their money nothing more.The plan seemed fair to Lya, but she didn't want to get involved in the assassin part.

"It's okay lya,I have a much more easy job for you."

Lya would be an informant on the mission because they needed to get some information on their target.Their target was no longer a drug Lord,but now a well known business mogul whose strange death would be the end for them so they needed to make his death seem like an accident.

She was about to leave when she was called back.

"I know this is hard for you but I promise I will fix this.Your mom had nothing to do with this but she suffered from pain before her death.So please take it easy.I don't want to loose you too.You're the only memory I have of her"he said before giving her a warm hug.

"I promise dad"she said before leaving the park.At least the pen knife wasn't of use that day.

She smiled while walking home.Her dad came back.Soon,lya got home and went to her room.Her excitement wanted her to tell April but she checked herself.She felt happy that indulging in her dad's plan would help her in fixing her headaches problem by sponsoring her surgery which her foster mom and dad weren't financially stable to do.She slept off knowing well that a good sleep would help in her study for the upcoming exams.

Lya wrote the exam and passed incredibly Sophia passed well too.And it was celebrated.Lya grinned whenever she remembered that it was remaining a year plus before she would graduate with an academic diploma.She wanted to earn a master's degree and have a white collar job.But she had to work hard for it.

Her dad was proud of her and gave her his full support although her foster mum and dad were there for her too.

The holidays quickly passed,with lya seizing every opportunity in making herself a better person.Her mom would be proud of her.The semester break ended and school resumed once again,with the once lonely corridors filled with students moving to their various classes.

Lya and Sophia were strolling to one of their classes one day,when they saw someone who they least expected to attend the school with them.

Here was Louis standing by the door looking at his phone with his head bent down at an attractive angle making his dark hair fall, shading his face from the intense sunlight beaming on his muscular frame.

"It's Louis!"Sophia made to scream.But Lya was quick to cover her mouth with her book.

"Yeah and so?who is he that you'll have to scream anyway?"Lya said in a grumpy voice.
