A tall shadow came out from the trees that was close to the place where the motorbike was packed.

"I knew she wouldn't listen"Alex said as he smacked his lips.

Louis had been driving for almost 10 minutes with Lya unusually silent.

Being unusually silent was an understatement she never said a word to him even when they had met at the lobby before driving.

He was confused as he thought that lya wasn't happy with him for not agreeing that he had changed but that was the past and he had vowed to himself that he would make her happy no matter what it takes.

He entered the compound with an order to the security guards not to allow anybody else into the compound as it was well past 10pm.

He parked his car in the garage and they both went into his room as Louis closed the door behind them.

"Babe I know I made mistakes... Hurt you... And did lots of hurtful things but just try to understand what am going through"he said as she crashed on the bed without saying a word, playing with the rim of her dress.

Now something was definitely strange she wasn't saying anything and that definitely made him scared.He feared that she had already known about what happened between him and Belinda,and his heart skipped a beat at that very thought.He about to ask her what was really the problem when she broke the silence.

"There's no need apologizing I never passed through any of this"came a totally different voice from the girl sitting on his bed playing with the rims of her dress.The voice sounded familiar to him,but the shock he received after hearing her talk had frozen his brain from further activity.

Louis temporarily lost his voice for what almost seemed like eternity.

"Who are you?"he finally spoke with beads of sweat forming on his forehead and palms.

She answered his question by removing the face concealing mask while watching his face whiten with shock.

She had finally reached the gate of Louis's house as she jumped from the fast moving motorbike In haste as she rang the bell on the gate frantically.

"Who's that?Nobody is allowed at this time"the stern guard scorned.

Lya knew that the gate would definitely be locked at this time although she at times sneaked into his house later than that when they both planned it.

"I know please I really need to see him"

"Come back tomorrow"the guard said walking back into the compound.

And they locked the gate opening with Lya having no option than to use her talent to help herself.

The fake Lya said playing with a knife on her hand.

Louis knew better than to fight with an imposter with a sharp kitchen knife.He drew backwards slowly as he swallowed a lump in his throat with his hands reaching for the door behind him.

It was too late to run.

A stronger hand had used an handkerchief doused with an heavy sleeping drug to cover his nostrils.

He struggled for oxygen until he blacked out, falling into the darkness that drew him deeper to a forced unconsciousness.

With the two accomplices smiling at each other happy with their achievement.
