Chapter 16

Shocking discovery
He turned round to see a maid with blushed cheeks who was assigned to serve him his breakfast staring at him in shock before running out of his room in shame.

He sighed as he saw his breakfast on the table beside his bed with a hot cup of cocoa.

"These maids won't stop gushing at me"he said as he stared at himself in the mirror.

The graduation ceremony was eloquent as the celebrants were well dressed for the dance that was going to take place an hour later.

"Hey lya,missed me?"Alex said with an air of confidence.

Lya was avoiding Alex and Belinda in the mean time to get more evidence against them whilst they wiped her phone knowing she had a clue.And more over,she wasn't enjoying the party.

If they would try to murder someone,it meant they could still murder someone to cover their tracks.

"Am supposed to be asking you that"she said defiantly.

Alex sighed as he shoved his hands into his pockets.

"Do you really know what you're getting yourself into?"he asked curiously.

"What do you mean"she asked looking around to know if someone would overhear their conversation.

"We both know what we're talking about don't pretend.

Why are you risking your life for him?"he asked staring at Lya to get an answer.

"I don't...it's not right..Kat didn't do anything why involve her in this?"She asked with a fiery countenance.

"Stop bluffing is it because you love him? com'on"he exclaimed angrily.

"Yes and I would do anything to protect him"said a lady who had fallen deeper in love than she expected.

"See Lya we know you were planning to tell the police.."he said.

"Whatt! How did you find out?!"She said howling at him.

They were literally raising their voices at each other but the music was loud so people couldn't hear them.

"I was the one that hacked into your phone I wiped it"he said shaking Lya to clear the illusion of love that had completely taken over her sense of reasoning.

"I hate you!"Lya said removing his hands from her shoulder.

"This is way more complicated than you can ever imagine.My sister is very dangerous she can do anything to get Louis.And the people she's helping aren't friendly either"Alex said.

"How is this related to Louis?"she asked with confusion.

"It's all about him Mia was just involved.Lya I know you love him, but don't involve yourself because she has eyes everywhere.Its complicated"he said dejectedly before going away.

Lya was sad because she knew he was telling her the truth.She had to save louis,...or else she would never forgive herself.She caused everything.

Soon,more guests began to arrive until she saw Louis stepping out of his super car with a shiny dark designer suit.His dark blue eyes gleaming with lust and unsavoured passion.The first two buttons undone,leaving his chest for the hungry girls to gush at.His hair was rather rough and his shiny pout lips drew a lot of attention at that moment.Girls began to glance at him and Lya was surprised that he didn't even notice them and he went up to her and pecked her.

"You came."Lya said with a flushed face.

"Of course remember I promised you that we will come together in my super car?"he reminded.
