Chapter 6

A pleasant surprise
And Belinda shook in fear,this man was going to strike a deal after having her in bed,a man old enough to be her grand father.

But his reply was unexpected.

"Am not that kind of man,Belinda.It a lot more harder than sleeping with someone."

And she nodded presently aware of his grin on his wrinkled face.

"I'll need you to get some vital information for me"And Belinda shivered.Was she going to be a spy in the disguise of an house maid, feeding the enemies with vital information until they striked?She wanted to accept the offer,but she had no other Choice.At least it would be better than the hell she was living in right now.

But she had to pay her part of the bargain by obeying the orders that she received from Thomas.And as expected she agreed to the deal, while Thomas briefed her on her victims.

She was shown two pictures.One of an older man just about Mr Thomas age and another much younger his son,and to her delight she discovered that he was still a bachelor.And her face glowed in cunning mischief.

But Belinda had her own plans she intended to seduce him and make him her's at least being his mistress would go a long way in helping her taking care of her self and not stooping low to the level of an housemaid in order to survive.

"Thank you Mr Thomas,"she appreciated before taking her leave to the hell she called home.

"Call me dad"he said smiling with his evil looking eyes.

Mr Thomas was a very close friend to Louis's dad so he somehow knew that there was shortage of maids.And that was where he brought in a spy in the disguise of a maid.

Entering the magnificent mansion that was exquisitely decorated,she stared around in disbelief that such heaven would exist on earth.She almost opened her mouth agape in surprise when she saw a large portrait of Mr Arthur's son,Louis,as she was previously informed.How could he look so devilishly handsome,and irresistible at the same time,his aura felt strange as everything that seeped from the passion filled blue hazel eyes spoke only mystery of the deep blue sea.She decided to discover and unravel the mystery herself.

Minutes later,She was walking down a massive flight of stairs with her only possession,her clothes and some money she had saved when she almost slipped to her unexpected death when a strong arm held her, saving her from the fall that would probably result to her being in a coma or her falling on any delicate part of her body leading to her death.

She immediately felt immensely grateful for the person who saved her and when she looked up at the person to see the image that she was almost worshipping some minutes ago.She stared at him in disbelief staring at the blue eyes once again as her pupils dilated while her heartbeat doubled.

His pointed nose almost brushed her right cheek as she blushed at the very thought of him holding her tighter than he presently did.And her gaze shifted to his lips.So blessed he was that he had the plum lips that would arouse any lady.Those lips would kiss someone from the garden to the bedroom.His seductive lips that was shifted in a grin when he held her.Did he find it amusing?She almost fell!

She expected to see the handsome son of her boss when he probably had to eat dinner or some other time...but she didn't expect to be in his arms at the stairs where she almost missed her step.

And missing her step wasn't a novelty to her,she always missed her step every now and then.In short, another word of describing her was clumsy.

She blinked her eyes back to reality.

"Sorry sire I didn't expect to fall but thank you for saving me"she thanked profusely using the opportunity to escape from the lovely embrace he used in saving her from the fall.
