Chapter 7

The unraveled truth
On his phone was a video of louis and her dancing.The video was on social media and it had gone viral with the hashtag #lovechallenge.

"Oh my GOD who did this"she snapped with her heart in her mouth.Her career and reputation at that school would probably be ruined.

"I don't know yet but I hope people are not talking yet"

He said with concern.

"It's all over the school"Lya replied with teary eyes.

The video wasn't the problem,the problem was that the video was taken at an angle that made them look so much together and it wasn't known to the public that Julia and Louis weren't together anymore.She Lya,was now the bad guy.

"I sorry for causing you trouble but I promise I would find the person who did this"he said with an act of finality.Louis hated being disturbed emotionally.And Lya getting involved wasn't funny to him.He promised himself that the person behind it would soon be caught.He ground his teeth in anguish as he drove at an alarming speed.

The next two weeks were hell for Lya yeah...

With people stealing glances at her,Other girls leering at her with jealousy,she couldn't even focus on her studies,at all.

As Lya learnt, Mia who was his secret girlfriend and she just couldn't let Lya be. Lya had passed through Julia,and now Mia.By now Lya had already advised her self that being friends with louis was a waste of time.He would definately have his other girlfriends reaching for her throat.She actually explained everything to Mia later and she completely understood everything.To good to be a girlfriend right,then who was she?Mia wasn't really a bad person as she had earlier thought.

Louis and Lya were still on the search for the person who posted the video about them and Louis had a college friend who was very good in hacking and IT.

"When are we going to find the person"Louis asked impatiently as his frowned face added to his discomfort.

"Of course it will be difficult because the first person who posted the video later deleted the video after posting it"the IT guy said talking with his hand occasionally adjusting the glasses on his nose.

"But how are we going to find the person then if he/she deleted it"Olivia asked curiously.

"We can still find the person but I need extra time"The IT guy said.

"I'll send you the address if I have any results"he concluded looking back at his large screen.

They all left the underground office where the light of the sun almost blinded Lya as she was already getting used to the darkness in the underground office.

"Is there still need to find the person who did this besides it's all over and people aren't talking anymore"Lya asked with some hint of tiredness in her voice.

"I won't stop till I find the person because I need to know the person and why he or she did this"Louis said with determination.

Louis later dropped Lya and Olivia at the school where they later had to complete their tests that day.

After finishing the tests that day Lya went to meet Sophia and Olivia and they all went home together..

"Is there any result yet"Sophia asked immediately they started walking home..

That was strange, Sophia didn't really care about something and asking unnecessary questions was kinda suspicious.

"Not yet but the IT guy is on it"Lya said busy licking off the chocolate smeared on her fingers.She had bought chocolates on her way home.And damn, she loved chocolates.
