"So........your a woman?"

Mordred winced at how Kay questioned her. They were in Kay's private tent at least, to avoid any eavesdroppers.

"....yes. But I can explain!" Mordred begged. Lancelot and Kay put up their hands, silencing the woman.

"We don't really care Mordred." Lancelot said, placing a hand on the lady's shoulder. "Arthur won't really care at all. You choose to fight with him, that's all Arthur really cares about. All we have to do now is convince the others you can be trusted. So, who shall we started with-"

"Where's my precious Guts~" Everyone turned to the tents entrance and saw Merlin standing there, her eyes looking sleep deprived. Her hair was uneven and her skin was paler than usual. She smiled upon seeing Mordred. "Hi Mordred~"

"Wait," Lancelot paused before turning to Merlin. "You knew Mordred was a woman?"

"Why of course! I knew from the moment I saw her." Merlin chuckled before smiling. This smile, however, wasn't a good one. It sent chills down the three knight's spine, almost triggering a flight or fight instinct. "Now........where's Guts?"

Scared to answer but also scared to not answer, the knights only stood in place, looking at one another nervously. Merlin closed her eyes, smile still on her face. The air in the tent started to turn cold. Suddenly, the tent flapped open and the doctor's assistant, a small boy, stood there.

"He's ready for you!" The boy shouted before running off. Merlin's eyes peeked open as the temperature turned to normal.

"Oh Guts!" Merlin cried out, diving past the doctor and onto the injured man on the ground, making him gasp from the impact as she hugged and rubbed her cheek against his. "Oh Guts, thank goodness you're alright!"

"Sorry about her." Kay apologized to the doctor. He watched as Guts pathetically struggled against the flower mage. "So doc, how is he?"

"Well, normally someone with that many wounds should have died hours ago." The doctor said as Guts pushed Merlin away, holding her at bay with one arm as her arms flailed about trying to reach him. "But, he's a tough one. So I don't think you'll have to worry about his life being in danger."

"SCREW YOU!" Guts shouted, looking away from Merlin. "I'm fighting to the end of this campaign even if I have to crawl!"

"Y-you dolt!" The doctor said, looking down at Guts. "If you follow through with that then...... I can't guarantee you're survival!"

"Guarantee Survival?" Guts smirked. "What the hell does that have to do with war?"

"Uggh Fine!" The doctor snapped before turning around and walking away. "Do as you will! But I won't be held responsible for the outcome!"

"Tch, like I need him." Guts groaned, before looking back at Merlin. "Hey Merlin, care to heal these wounds? I'll give you a bath if you do."

"Oh Guts~" Merlin stopped her struggle, sitting back on Guts's waist as her smile faltered. "I'd love to, I really would! But I'm unfortunately all out of magic."
