Three days later.....

"Don't worry......he's dead now."

Guts told Artoria as they sat in a carriage. He sat beside her, wrapping a fresh set of bandages around her arm. It's been nothing but three days of nonstop riding, not wanting to be near Wyald incase he somehow survived. Artoria wore a pair of Guts's shirt and pants, the clothing being to big for her frame.

"Ho.....?" Artoria hummed as he finished wrapping up her arm. Her hands were so small compared to his. She watched as Guts reached down and grabbed a bowl of soup, lifting it up and taking the spoon out.

"Say 'Ahhh....'" Guts said as he slowly brought the spoon closer to her. Poking the silverware through the visor of the helmet, Artoria opened her mouth and allowed the spoon in as she looked into Guts's eyes. Those kind, caring, loving eyes that she loved yet hated with all her heart. "There we go......"

"Woah, easy." Guts said as she began to move. When Guts placed a hand on her shoulder, she swiped a hand at him, knocking the bowl out of his hands and made the soup spill onto her blanket. "Oh shit. Hang on, I'll get you another blanket—Artoria!"

Artoria grunted as she pushed herself onto Guts. The man didn't expect the action to happen, so when Artoria latched onto him, he fell down backwards. Artoria bared her teeth as she placed her hands on either side of Guts head and began to grind her body against him.

'Come to my tent later to discuss your.......stay with us.'

Mordred's words echoed throughout Artoria's head as she slowly grind herself against Guts. She knew that look in Mordred's eyes, the look that showed she owned Guts. Well she didn't! Guts was hers, not Mordred's! Mordred didn't shed blood to own Guts, she did!

"A—Artoria you need—!" Guts tried to gently move Artoria off, but she wouldn't budge. She stared down at him through her helmet. He grinding stopped when Guts pushed her up into the air, letting her arms dangle beside him as looked down at him. "......Artoria."

Guts sighed as he lowered Artoria back down, letting her rest on his chest. He hugged her close before she felt her eyes slowly begin to close.

"Are we almost there?"

"Almost." Merlin told Guts as they rode atop a horse through the forest, Lancelot laying on the wagon behind them.

The plan was for Guts,Merlin, and Lancelot to find the thing capable of healing Artoria of her injuries. They brought Lancelot with them so he wasn't killed in an attack, his wounds preventing him from being able too defend himself. They would then meet up with Mordred's group to heal Artoria. It was a secret, keeping Artoria in the dark so she didn't get her hopes up.

"So this sword.....it'll be capable to heal Artoria, turn her back to normal?" Guts asked as they went deeper into the forest. He looked over his shoulder and saw Merlin's unhealed wounds, the sight of her being hurt was very uncommon for him. "Sounds like a lot like Caliburn."

"In a way, yes. Excalibur will return her to normal." Merlin said, her head slowly nodding off do to exhaustion. "The reason it's like Caliburn is because I based it off of Excalibur's design......you could say Caliburn is but a weaker copy.........speaking of copies.....how are you feeling about Mordred?"
