Chapter 5: The Date

I'm currently braiding my hair. I put on my pink dress and my red boots. The only purse I had with me was the silver one, which I had since I was 15.

Knock knock

I hurridly opened the door. I bet it's Ryland.

"You ready?" Ryland says as I opened the door.

"Yeah, I'll just get my purse." I run back inside the room and fetched it as fast as I could.

"Okay let's go." I stop infront of Ryland, who's staring at me.

"You look beautiful." He says, as he looked at me from head to toe.

"Oh, t-thanks." I blushed.

Then, we started walking until we found a cab. After a few minutes, we made it to the mall. We scanned the place until we found the others.

"Hey," Ryland greets them.

Riker was sitting on a bench with a black- haired lady. She's tall, has tan skin and has a very beautiful smile. I admit, she's pretty.

Near the ice cream cart was Rocky with a brunette girl. I think she's a supermodel. She looked beautiful in a yellow loose top and shorts.

What caught my attention was Rydel and Ellington sharing one phone. I think they were watching a video. They were frequently laughing at what they were watching. They look like a cute couple.

It was just Ross and Alyssa we were waiting for. I wonder who their dates are. I admit, I still wish that it was Ross that I would be dating. I bet we would be having so much fun.

As I look around, I spot a cab stop right in front of us. Then, Ross and Alyssa come out, while holding hands. They looked so happy as they got off the taxi. Ross was wearing a big smile, so was Alyssa. I'm really happy for them, but it hurts. I feel like being stabbed by knives in my heart.

Ouch.

"We're complete!" Rocky says as he and his date walks away from the ice cream cart.

Ross and Alyssa found their spot, right in front of me and Ryland. They weren't holding hands anymore, but Alyssa clung to Ross' arm.

"Before everything, I'd like you to meet my date Lara." Riker says as he brang Lara near us.

"Nice to meet you,"

"And this is May," Rocky points at her date.

"And this is Rydel," Ellington says.

"Shut up." Riker says, trying to keep himself from laughing.

"Then, we're all set. Let's go?" Ross says with all smiles. He looks so excited and happy.

Everyone agrees, and we go to our first destination; the arcade. Unbelievably, Alyssa reserved the place for us.

"Woohoo!" The boys were excited. We, the girls just shrugged.

"C'mon," Ryland says as we look for a game to play.

We almost circle the whole arcade twice before we found a game we agreed on playing. We ended up racing.

"I win!!" I jumped in joy when I beat Ryland.

"You know I just let you win right?" Ryland says.

"Of course you did," I say full of sarcasm.

Then, we were surprised to see everyone gather up in a corner. When we made it there, they were all watching while cheering for Ross and Alyssa who's dancing in the game 'Just dance'.
