Chapter 20: Do it Again

Third Person

Two years have passed, and Melissa is now a successful singer. Matt's band was a great stepping stone for her. She did forgive Matt after everything he did, and still joined the band. But later on, she thought to pursue a solo career.

Now, she tours around the world for her concerts. But don't think she just forgot of Ross, because she never did. Ross was her inspiration. She is looking forward to seeing him again, but she let destiny do the job.

Ross on the other hand has been more successful than he was before. R5 had another album after Sometime Last Night, probably to be followed by more. But with every performance Ross does, he dedicates it to Melissa.

Now, Melissa is in the Philippines for her concert. All the memories from R5's world tour were coming back to her.

To releave herself from thinking, she went to the one place that takes away all her stress; Boracay beach.

"I miss you..." She whispers into the cold breeze kissing her skin.

She run her hands through the fine sand, and let the water touch her feet. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"You're in my spot," A familliar voice says.

"What do you—"

Melissa could barely talk. It's like seeing him for the first time again, like before time stopped, and almost did her heart's beating.

"Mind if I join you? A very special person told me that when I have a problem, I should come to this beach." Ross says as he sits down on the sand beside Melissa.

Melissa looks around, spotting the rest of R5, Alyssa and Ryland watching from a few steps. They were all wearing their most beautiful smiles.

"How did you find me?" Melissa asks in disbelief.

"Let's just say, I know your scent." Ross giggles.

"I missed you!" Melissa pulls Ross into a hug.

After, Ross takes Melissa's hands.

"I guess time was all we really needed." He says.

"Couldn't agree more."

After a few seconds, Ross talks again.

"Let's start over?" He raises his eyebrow.

"What a great idea," Melissa says.

So, Ross stands up and walks away. After a few seconds, he aproaches Melissa again.

"Hello beautiful lady," Ross says.

"How may I help you, handsome man?" Melissa smiles.

"I'd like to get your number, please?" Ross says as he sits down beside Melissa.

"I wouldn't give my number to a stranger," Melissa rolls her eyes.

"Fine. Hi, I'm Ross Lynch," He offers his hand.

"Melissa Greymon." She reaches Ross' hand.

"Now, your number?" Ross impatiently asks.

"Hmm.." Melissa trails off. "I don't give away my number." She adds.

Ross frowns in disapointment.

"But I do give away a kiss," Melissa says, pulling Ross towards her.

"Would you like one?" She asks.

"I'd love one."

Then, their lips meet once again, which felt like it lasted forever. They didn't care about the people around them, all they care about is atlease they have each other... FOREVER.
