What way is better,
Following your heart or following your head?
Most of the time you have to choose
For if you don't then there's something you might lose
Some says follow your heart
Other says follow your head
How would I know what is better
What if I do both instead
I followed my heart once,
but where did that led me,
Made me lose my love
Because of my stupidity
I chose to follow my head
This way I won't get hurt
But doing this made things complicated
And I only chose to flirt
Followed my head
because my love is dead
I told myself not to do serious relationships
And learned to think ahead
I don't wanna sound like a player
I just don't wanna get hurt
I may be a faker
I just wanna be heard
Upon these years
Wondering which is better
Following your heart or following your head
Why does it matter?
Overthinking leaves me restless
Nights I cant forget my past,
Loving made me reckless
This is why they don't last
I learned to choose
Between heart or head
In order to not get hurt
My tears I shed.
Finally I learned my lesson
I learned to choose
From asking questions
There's nothing to loose.
