My first love,
Seems to last forever.
My friendship,
That I thought will last longer.
There are plenty moments in my life
That stayed in my mind
From my friendship to first love
They are really hard to find
My love for this person
Seems not to fade
Lasting for what seems like forever
Then finding out I got played.
The memories I treasured
Only got forgotten
I came in second
The moment I got led on.
The love that seems like forever
For he thinks I still like him.
Can't it be just because I miss him,
Wanting our friendship back together.
The moment in my life
Where we promised each other
Turns into a strife
Being friends to lovers
This moments made me think
Should I leave the past behind?
Memories made me rethink,
The love that's stuck in my mind
I chose to forget,
Yet everything reminds me of him
But I do not regret
Being able to get to know him.
The friendship we created
That I really loved
Enjoyed each others company
Until the day I moved.
We started drifting apart
We started talking less
It kinda broke my heart
It all turned into a mess
This memory lasted
For a while I can't forget.
They might last forever
Im just really happy we met.
