What should I make for dinner tonight? Maybe some beef stew? It's the boys' favorite food after all.

*crack*

A loud crack, followed by a lot of swearing pulls me out of my train of thought.

Not again! I swear if Reynolds knocked down another tree, I'll murder him.  Also what does he think he's doing, swearing so loudly when the kids can hear him from inside the house?

I walked out side to see Rey sheepishly looking at me scratching the back of his head as he stood next to the poor tree he knocked down.

"Rey-"

*BOOM*

All of a sudden, another loud sound explodes in my eardrums. The grass and trees around me are being torn from the ground and I quickly locate the source of the sound, only to find the house erupting.

Reynolds quickly runs to shield me from debris but the only thing on my mind are kids.

Are they safe? Where are they right now?

I turn my head, but I can't see Art or Jay.

No way. Don't tell me...

THEY'RE STILL IN THE HOUSE! All the blood drains from my face and disbelief flashes across it as I yell out, "REY, THE KIDS! THEY'RE STILL INSIDE!"

A look of panic and worry flashes across his face as he puts a shield around me and he runs to the source of the explosion to look for them. Meanwhile, tears are flowing down my face and I'm just hoping they're alive.

They're only 3! Why is this happening? They don't deserve to die!

I shut my eyes, going through all of our happy memories together.

After a few minutes, I start hearing Rey laughing. Is that a good sign or a bad sign? I don't know! Please tell me the twins are safe!

I run up the mountain of debris and call out, "Reynolds! Honey!"

He looks back at me, his eyes in shock, and is mouth agape.

I slowly make my way to him trying not to get blown away from a strong pushing force.

"Reynolds! What happened? What's going on? Where's Art and Jay?"

He looks back at me and pointed up in the air. In the direction of... OUR SON!

My eyes widen, chin drops, and my legs give out. I tried to say something, but the only thing I could muster was, "Oh my..."

Jayden Leywin

*BOOM*

What?! I wasn't even close to awakening! Are we being attacked?!

I opened my eyes in a panic and got blown off my feet  immediately. I squinted up at the source of the light and realized it was my brother!

Wait wait wait- ART?! What's he doing floating?! WAIT! DID HE AWAKEN?! THAT'S SO COOL! HE GETS TO USE THAT COOL MAGIC NOW!

"Arthur-" I tried to say, but the moment I stood up, I got blown off my feet.

It's been a seconds and all my strength is being used just so I don't get blown away.

Then I noticed our parents running towards us.

"Oh my..." my mother mustered. They stayed like that for a while until I lost my grip and went flying.

My mother glanced at me and gasped. She ran towards me and started using her healing magic.

Luckily I was fine, but all that happened made me sleepy. The last thing I noticed was Art looking around and spotting me, before I blacked out.

"Where am I?" I opened my eyes and saw my family staring down at me.

"Whew!" My mother exhaled.

I looked around and noticed that our house looked brand new. How did that happen? Wasn't it destroyed...? Ahhh right. The time passed like a blur but I seem to remember some people rebuilding our house.

"Well you woke up just in time for dinner Jayden!" I shot up immediately. My mother's cooking is delicious!

"Hahaha! Glad to see that you're excited!"

We sat down at the dinner table staring at our food. Then, in a flash, Arthur and I started gobbling down our food.

After an awkward moment of silence, our father finally spoke up.

"Honey, I think it's time we go get our boy's a proper mentor."
