Jayden Leywin
3 Years Later...
I got up from my meditating pose as my mother called me down for lunch. While waiting for Arthur to return. I've been training! I'm currently on the brink of light right, and with some dedication, I could probably make it to solid orange by the time I turn 8 in a few months. I just hope that Arthur makes it back in time for our birthday.
During this time, I also unlocked an affinity for wind and sound! It took Vincent a whole 5 hours to wake up.
I walked to the washroom to wash my hands and saw myself in the mirror.
I froze for a second. My face looked quite different form how it was 3 years ago. My hair had grown out a small bit (still a bit shorter than Arthur's hair) but my eyes remained the same hazelnut brown it was years ago.
"Jayyden!"
"Alright, alright, I'm coming!" I yelled back at my mother.
I wasted too much time. We were going shopping right after lunch. My shoes got ripped while training. I finished it within a matter of minutes. While I waited for my mom to finish, I went to go practice my sword stances. I realized that if Art is going to be a prodigy in mana manipulation, I can at least beat him in sword fighting.
On the way, I passed Eleanor. (Ellie for short) She was born a few months after Arthur contacted us. She should be turning 3 soon. I just want to say, WOW is she cute. I remember the tears of joy when she first called me "bruhda," I don't think me and Art were that cute when we were children. She also knows that she has another brother named Arthur, but she hasn't seen him yet. She only knows him from the stories my parents tell her every night.
I decided I'm going to teach her so she can stand up to her brother. I don't want to do it too early though, because I've seen how mom used to yell at dad when he trained us.
Oh! Maybe if I train Ellie enough, she will get strong enough to beat Art! The expression on his face will be priceless!Anyways, I reached the field outside, and drew my wooden training sword when I heard the doorbell, Ellie's voice, and then my mother's voice. I started hearing sobbing and ran to the front door to check out the sounds.
The door was open and my mother was hugging someone with auburn hair and azure eyes. I stopped and stared at the figure. The auburn hair was a bit longer than mine and he were a bit taller than me but the person was still recognizable.
It was him.
It was Arthur.
Arthur Leywin
It was a strange feeling being more nervous now, meeting my family, more than when I first appointed a king while in the midst of the most powerful people in the world.
"Whew~ let's do this Sylvie."
"Kyu" She responded, my excitement spreading to her.
The dull sound of metal clanging on metal rang surprisingly loudly.
Unexpectedly, I could hear the faint pitter-patter sounds followed by a childish voice. "Coming~!"
A maid opened the door together with a little girl. Immediately upon seeing me, she hid behind the maid.
The maid looks at me curiously, evidently surprised to see an eight-year-old knocking on the door of a noble's estate.
"Ahem, nice to meet you. My name is Arthur Leywin. I was informed that my family is currently residing in this manor. Do you mind if I speak to them?" I give a slight bow, Sylvie rocking on my head.
