Chapter 6

Gemini's POV

Right now I'm working in my office on some paperworks but I can't seem to focus on that as I mind is fully diverted towards my husband I'm thinking of ways to find out if he likes me or not I don't want to rush this I want to take things slow.

I heard a knock on my door and my new secretary Jane entered the room she is my cousin from my mother's side.We are of the same age and we share everything with each other I think I should take some opinions from her regarding this.

"Good morning SIR Gemini"she chuckled a little while stressing on the word Sir "Good morning Jane"
"What are you thinking about so deeply I'm knocking on the door from last 2 minutes"
"Would you laugh at me or help me if I tell you the whole thing"
"Depends"she said
"I think I'm starting to like my husband.....Hey wait no I think I'm starting to fall in love with my husband"
She bursted out laughing
"Hey I'm not joking"I said
"I told you the day of your marriage itself that you're gonna fall for him but you denied it saying that it's not gonna happen even in my dreams now see it yourself you are confessing that you are falling for him"
"What should I do Jane please help me how did you know that you are in love with your boyfriend what does it feel like to have one I know he is already my husband but I don't want to rush this I want to start this from square one"
"Okay I see....So how do you feel when he talks to you"
"I feel mesmerized while hearing him"
"How do you feel when he cares for you"
"I can't express that feeling it's as if I'm in heaven"
"How do you feel when you see him with someone else other than you"
"I feel jealous duhh he is my husband"
"I know I know will you like it if someone else tries to win his heart"
"I'll kill that person even before him doing that.....joking but I won't let him do that"
"That's it you are already in love my cousin just go and court him already"
"But I don't know if he even likes me back"
"That's a problem but let things work on its pace and try to find any feelings in his eyes or the way he behaves with you.Make him happy spend more time with him.It will make you understand his feelings better"
"I'll try"
"That's good"
And then she started to tell me my schedule for the day
After that I tried to open up to him more I started spending more time with him we watched movies together played football on weekends as he insisted me to do that he was so happy when we were playing and he looked so happy when I agreed to watch movies with him.

Today was Sunday and we didn't have any work to do so to kill time I suggested him that we should go to watch a movie.He happily agreed and then we went to the mall.It was a romantic movie as far as I can understand because I'm not really paying attention to it as I'm busy to admire this beauty beside me he was smiling all the way through the movie.Glancing at me from time to time.There was a scene going on where the main leads were sitting in the park holding hands one of them resting there head on the others shoulder their parents were against their relationship and wanted them to break it off as they have already found the perfect match for both of them.Both of them were crying a lot.I don't know why this made my heart skip a beat it felt like this is happening with me with us.I don't know when did my hand reach his and I held it tight which sent shivers down my spine.I looked at him and he was looking at me with a surprised look but after that he just smiled and rested his head on my shoulder.I was so happy when he did that.After a lot of struggle the main leads finally made it together in the end.The movie ended and then we headed out to have dinner.And after that we went home but no one spoke about the small incident which happened while watching the movie.

The next day I was working in my office when I heard a knock on the door.Jane came in and told me that someone is here to meet me I told her to send them in.A girl came inside and I looked up at her for a second I didn't recognise her but then I remembered,"Minnie"I said
"Yes Gem"she replied
I got up and went to her and hugged her she was my childhood bestfriend we studied together till 10th grade I was so happy to see her again
"How are you Minnie I missed you so much why did you broke contacts with me as soon as you left Thailand"
"I missed you to Gem back then things happened and that's why all my contacts here were broken but now I'm trying my best to reach out to everyone"
"Nevermind have a seat what would you like to have tea coffee"
"Anything would do"
"Okay"
I ordered coffee for both of us and we started talking about our works.She told me that she is going to start working as a new model for a beauty product company here.I also told her about my marriage.She asked me why didn't I refuse to do this arrange marriage I simply replied that I didn't have a choice she didn't say anything about it after that but I saw a change in her expression when I talked about my marriage but I just brushed the thought of.After that I invited her for dinner at my place and she agreed to it.I called Fourth and told him that I'm bringing my friend over for dinner.He said okay and told me that he'll prepare it by the time we reach I told him that we would make it together but he insisted to cook it till I reach and if after that he needs help I can do that.I just agreed with him.
