Chapter 12

Fourth's POV

I reached the station at 11 am and directly went to meet the officers.
"Good morning Officer"I said
"Good morning Mr.Norawit"
Our lawyer was also there I told him all the details regarding the incident and also showed him the CCTV footage
"Mr.Norawit don't worry we won't let her get away from this I've filled a warrant against her and also we are gonna appeal for a no bail case I believe she will have to stay in the prison for about 10 years"lawyer said
"Thank you so much"I replied
"Well Officer can I meet her"
"Mr.Norawit from the day we took her here she has become more aggressive I think you should not go there"
"Officer please let me in for a min"
"Okay but we'll make two more officers to accompany you"
"Okay"

I went to her cell and stood in front of her she was sitting at the corner of the cell she was looking a whole mess.
"I told you not to mess with us you still did that,now you will have to pay for your deeds"I said
She looked at me and smirked
"Do you think I'll stay here for long I'll come back and take my revenge and take my Gemini from you.It was for you I don't know why did he take it on himself He is hurt because of you"
"I would never let you near Gem ever again he is my husband and I love him I won't let a filthy bitch like you come near him"
"FOURTH"she got up and was gonna charge on me when the officers held her back.
"Mr.Norawit you should go she is not in the right state of mind"
"I won't let you get away from this easily Minnie keep that in mind"

I called Gemini
"Hello"
"Hello"
"I've come out from there I hope you ate your lunch and had your medicines"
"I didn't but I'll have it now"
"Gem you better have it before I come back or else you know me"
"Dai khrub Thirak"
"Hey hey I haven't accepted you yet gotta go I'll be back in an hour I need to go the office to collect some files you better have your food and medicines till then"
I hanged up the phone and went to the office.
When I reached home I saw Gemini was sleeping peacefully
"Thank you so much guys"
"It's nothings Fourth he was so restless untill you called and after that he ate his food and took his medicines and slept right away maybe the beacuse of the dosage"Ford said
"Yeahh the medicines are too much"
"Well then we'll take our leave"Mark said

I checked up on him once more and he slept right now so maybe I can work on my files for some time.I went to the home office and started reviewing them I got up after 3 hours nd went to our room and Gem was still sleeping.
"Gem get up"
"Gem..."he stirred up his sleep
"Aow.. when did you return and why didn't you wake me up"
"I returned when you just drifted of to sleep and I wanted you to rest I had some works to do as well"
"How did it go there"
"Nothing much she is a mess and the case will definately be on our side as we have a stron evidence so don't worry"
"Did she say something to you"
"Yeah she threatened me once again but that doesn't matter anyway she isn't gonna come out once she is proved guilty"
"Thank you"
"I should thank you Gem you saved me you took that knife on yourself when it was meant for me I...I'm sorry Gem you are hurt because of me"I didn't realise I was crying
"Fourth hey come here baby" I went to him and hugged him not so tightly after some time I broke the hug and looked down fiddling with my fingers he made me face him and wiped my tears with his thumb,"Don't apologize Fourth I told you I'll take hundreds of knifes if it's meant to protect you,I won't let anyone even touch a single strand of you hair once I'm healed from this.Donr cry please it hurts to see you like this."I just nodded and snuggled up in his neck.
We pulled out after a while,"it seems like you are already falling for me"he chuckled
"Dream on its not so easy.I'll go down and prepare our dinner"
"I wanna come down as well"
"But Gem"
"Please I don't want to bother you every now and then it's better if we  practice it a bit"
"Hey you are not a bother okay I will take care of you as long as you don't heal"
"I know but I wanna walk on my own as well na like before."
"Okay then let's go now from tomorrow I'm gonna take you on morning walks."I held his hand and snakes one arm on his waist.
"Let's go"
He sat in the living room watching a series and I prepared for our dinner we had it there itself and binge watched the series till 12 am didn't even realise it was so late I helped him up till our room and then we slept.

Next morning I got up and did my morning routine I waked him up and he did the same we started of by him going down the stairs without my support he was doing it pretty well but winced at some times when he felt a stinging sensation from the wound .I held him lightly whenever he felt the pain.
Then we went to our garden and walked there for a bit he was pretty good while walking on but whenever it is the matter of sitting on the couch,walking up the stairs,or laying down on bed without support it hurts him I didn't want to tire him a lot so we went inside after some time.

We started working from home for the time being.Both of our parents didn't even bother to ask about how he is.He was in his deep thoughts when I waved a hand in front of hi.
"Gem what are you thinking"
"Nothing"
"Really"
"Hmm"
I held his hand in mine,"Gem you can tell me anything you know"
"My parents didn't even called me to ask about my health.I feel so useless."
"Gem they don't know your worth don't think about them they don't deserve it.I'm fed up with them already don't waste your time thinking about them na"
He just nodded
Days went by pretty fast and Gemini's would was almost healed the case is the court was closed and Minnie was sentenced a punishment for 10 years her parents apologized to Gemini for there daughter's wrong doings and he forgave them because apparently they aren't like there daughter.We just had to go to the hospital to remove the stiches today.Gemini was doing a lot better while walking and moving about from past one week.I'm glad he is fully recovering now.

Gemini's POV

Fourth took care of me so well for the last one month.I'm more in love with him now.I didn't get the opportunity to court him as I was healing but now that I'm fully recovered I'll start courting him.The way he took care of me as if I was a delicate flower.From now on I'll take care of him,give him all my love as he deserves.
