Chapter 7

Fourth's POV

I'm preparing dinner for tonight as Gemini has invited his friend over for dinner.From last few week Gemini has started to respond to my actions he is trying to open up in front of me.I'm very happy that he is spending time with me,interacting with me more often while having dinner or on weekends.I prepared a lot of food today Crispy Pork Basil his favourite,then Pad Thai,Thai Green Curry, Chicken and Rice, for dessert I prepared Cheese cake I didn't know their preference so I pretty much made the basic ones which everyone likes.After preparing everything I went to the bathroom to fresh up I want to look good in front of my husband's friend😅.
I wore a simple printed black shirt and beige pants.I went down when I heard the car park in front of the house I went down and opened the door for them.Gemini opened the door for the person and there came a beautiful girl from inside he closed it but I felt a knot in my stomach when he did that for someone else nevermind it's just his friend.
They walked towards the door and Gemini smiled at me he gave a small peck on my cheeks,"Good evening fourth"
"Welcome back"I said and then I turned my attention towards her.
"Umm Fourth this is Minnie my childhood bestfriend we studied together till grade 10th but after that she moved out from Thailand and she came back just few days ago."he said
"Hello Minnie nice to meet you"I said and put my hand forward for a handshake
"Hello Fourth nice to meet you too"she gave me a small smile
"Please come inside"I said
They came inside and I told them to have a seat I offered a glass of water to both of them we sat there for sometime talking to each other basically they were talking and I was just listening they were telling me about their childhood memories I made some small talk in between but something was clearly off with her I don't know what it was but I felt it,she was giving me a look from time to time which I can't seem to understand.
"I'll go and take a shower"Gemini said
"Umm okay.Minnie you can fresh up as well I'll walk you till the guest room make youself at home"I said to her
"Yeah sure"she said
Gemini left to our room and I walked her to the guest room
"There is everything you would need come down as soon as you are done I'll prepare the dishes you guys must be hungry"I said to her
She just nodded
I went down and started arranging the dishes.First Gemini came down
"It must have been a hassel for you to do all this alone"he said
"Its not I completed everything pretty soon"I said
"Still you must be tired sit down I'll do the rest"
"It's okay Gem I can do it you just help me"
We arranged everything in no time when Minnie came down
"Have a seat Minnie let's have dinner"I said
"Yes"
She sat down beside him and I sat in front of Gemini we had our food when she was telling us about her new works
After having our dinner Gemini picked up the dishes and took them to the sink,"Gemini you go and spend time with her I'll wash the dishes"
"Nope you go and sit with her I'll do this and join you"
"But...."
"No buts go now"he pushed me out of the kitchen I went to the living room and sat on the couch
"Where is Gemini"she asked
"He is doing the dishes"I said
"Ohh....Did you really wanted to marry Gem"she asked
"Why are you asking this"
"I just want to know he told me this is an arranged marriage"
"We didn't have a choice but it's fine now we are getting to know each other maybe we'll work this out as well"
"I see but it seems fake to me"
"It's none of your concern"I tried to be as polite as I can
"Fierce much you know Gemini and I are practically childhood sweethearts we were always together back then"
"Yeahh BACK THEN"
"We can be like that now as well if I want"
"Why would you want that"
"Because I like him from childhood and I'm warning you don't try to make him fall for you as he is mine I know this would never work out so stay away from him"
"Aren't you being full of yourself I'm his lawfully wedded husband I can do whatever I want"
"Afterwards Don't tell me I didn't warn you"
"Do you think I'll back out hell no"
"Sure thing Fourth let's see"

Gemini came back after washing the dishes and sat down beside me on the couch
"Have you guys get to know each other"
"Yess we did"she said giving me a small smirk
"Yess I got to know more about her"I replied
"Great"
"I've called the cab Gem I'll go now"she said
"I would have dropped you home"
"Hey don't bother I can manage lets meet each other more often from now on"
"Sure Minnie you are staying here in Thailand now we will surely meet more often"Gemini said
"Yeahh"

"See you soon Fourth"
"Ofcourse Minnie"
She hugged Gemini and smirked at me mouthing,'Back off'

I just shrugged it off I knew it something was off with her she dares to mess up with my life with my husband she doesn't know I'm not so easy to play with you are trying to mess up with wrong man Minnie I hope you don't cross your limits with me or you'll regret it a lot.

I just smirked back at her.

It's Sunday and I got some time so I wrote this chp hope you like it😃😃
