Chapter 5

Author's POV

Some days later

Fourth got up as usual but he saw that Gemini was still sleeping it's unusual because he is always awake even before him
"Gemini,wake up it's 8 o'clock already how come you aren't awake until now?"Fourth said
"Gemini"he said but still didn't got any response
He shook him this time and saw that he is burning,"Gemini you have fever"
He checked his forehead,'Shit He is burning'
Fourth got up and brought a bowl of warm water and a towel he started wiping of the sweat from his face neck and hands after that he took another cloth soaked it in new water and placed it on Gemini's forehead.He did his morning routine in no time and rushed towards the kitchen made some soup for him and searched for some medicine luckily he got it he placed everything in a tray and went to the bedroom he shaked Gemini to get him up so that he can eat something and take some medicines,"Gem....Gemini get up"....Gemini stirred in his sleep,"have some soup and take the medicine it will help to decrease the fever"he got up fourth helped him to rest his back on the headrest he took the soup and started blowing it off he took some in the spoon and held it in front of him gesturing him to take a bite Gemini was too weak to reject it and started eating it silently he ate some spoonfuls
"That's enough"he said
"Okay,here drink some water and the medicine"
He nodded and took the medicines
Fourth helped him to lay back on the bed,"Fourth can you give me my phone I'll inform my secretary that I'm not coming"
"I did that already so don't worry take some rest now"fourth smiled at him
"Ohh thank you well you can go to the office I don't want you to miss the day because of me you must be having important works to do"fourth shook his head
"I prefer to stay here and take care of you"
"But..."
"No buts now take some rest I'll do the dishes and come back soon if you need something call me okay"
"Did you have your breakfast"
"Nope I'll go down and have it now"
"Okay but do have it"
"Yess"

Fourth went down and had his breakfast and did the dishes he brought some of his files from the home office and his laptop and went back to the bedroom
"You are gonna work from home"
"Umm yes I just have to review some files and I have an online meeting after some time and it'll be done"
"You should go to the office it must be important"
"I told you I prefer to take care of you so now stay quiet and let me do my work okay"

Gemini's POV

I was feeling to weak to get up today so I didn't after some time I heard fourth's voice telling me to get up but I still didn't have the energy he shook me and got to know I'm burning I felt his hand on my forehead after that I don't know what he did but when he woke me up for the second time I was feeling okay I got up and he was telling me to eat the food and take some medicines I obliged I don't know what have I done in my last life to have this kind soul as my husband he is taking care of me like this making me happy from inside he is even taking a leave from his office just to take care of me no one has ever done this for me not even my parents when I was young my parents always used to stay abroad for business I had my nanny Rose with me always she used to treat me as her own son her husband died when she was pregnant from then onwards mom and dad told her to stay at the outhouse of our mansion and whenever they used to go out she used to stay with me in the mansion with her baby she was a baby girl her name is Daisy she is a very sweet girl I always keep in touch with her she is just like a baby sister to me I've sponsored her studies for as long as she wants to I don't want her to face any difficulties while she is pursuing her dream she is 17 now.So when I was young, back then nanny Rose used to take care of me like this after I graduated from high school my parents sent me to the States for further studies and there I didn't have anyone to stay with I used to live in the apartment brought by my parents they used to come to check up on me once in many months I had friends there who are still in touch with me but there I had to take care of my ownself whenever I was sick or something so seeing Fourth taking care of me like this I'm again starting to feel those butterflies in my stomach after nanny Rose the one who truly cares about me is him I'm grateful to have him with me here.I think I should start taking things further I can't control myself now I want to make him mine should I start courting him I want to make him mine officially.But I'm scared I don't even know  if this liking is mutual because he just wanted to be my friend as he said on the first day itself.First things first I have to find it out if he likes me back or not and then start winning his heart.
